"Heard from a local friend about this little gem. We were suprised by the selection of candy, novelty items, soda and all the fun things to look at throughout the store. The truffles were absolutely delicious. Highly recommend stopping by if you like candy and fun local shops."

"All I have to say is wow. We travel often and always look for something new to do. We saw the billboard and decided why not stop in and see what their candy buffet was all about. Although their candy buffet is pretty much a disappointment in our eyes, they do have an excessive amount of everything you could possibly imagine. We loved the Old Time Candy and also all the drink options that they had. I'm sure you're thinking that you have been too many different candy stores and they all have been expensive and a waste of time. But this one is completely different. We saw so many things that we have never seen before and they also have board games and cute things for kids. If you are in town this is definitely somewhere to check out. In addition the prices were extremely reasonable and not very expensive compared to most other places. We would definitely come back here again. One of the other downsides though was at night it was hard to find parking."

"This place is awesome! It reminds me of the shop on the Willy winks movie, which is what they were shooting for I think. There’s not much service if it really busy. When we were there, it was slammed. The selection of candy and sodas was jaw dropping. They have a jelly belly station. There’s also card and board games too. Definitely recommend."

"Can I give 6 stars?! Grandpa Joe's is the top tier of candy shops! I was visiting Ocala for the day and I heard amazing things about Grandpa Joe's so I had to stop and I was not disappointed! The selection of sweets was just breath taking! They had candy I haven't seen or tasted since I was little! There was also a section for treats from overseas! I was just so excited! They also had games and other fun toys that were so cool to look at. The atmosphere makes you feel like a little kid in a candy store and you never want to leave. I spent 45 minutes here and I was still finding new things. The store was well organized and very clean. The employees were kind and helpful and made this a great trip! I will definitely be coming back!"
