Reviews of Springfield Gardens walking park
"It definitely has seen better days. If I could, I would go clean those ponds. Those turtles must be suffering from all that filth and algae growth. It looks like a toilet that hasn't been flushed in weeks. But the walking paths are nice for a quick jog. And the fitness court they put up is functional if ur down for that."
"This park is pretty good ever since the city of Springfield updated it! It has a large walking loop, duck pond, and workout area. I reccommend adding some more shrubbery, bushes, picnic areas, and plants to make it seem nicer, though. It would be great if they added the swings back, too."
"The walking park trail is very clean, grass is kept cut on a regular, plenty of parking and it is pretty well lit for evening/night walking. It's normally not to crowded and because it backs up to houses and very open I fill safe walking alone. I give a 4 vs 5 because it no longer has benches for sitting nor a toilet after Michael. It also only has 1 garbage can at one entrance vs both and I normally enter at the side without."
"This Used to be a really lovely walking park but it's bare after hurricane Michael. Still a nice place to walk and exercise. I like that is has two sides that are different difficulty levels. One is more inclined."
"This park is such a far cry from what it used to be when I was a kid. None of the structures have been rebuilt and the docks have been let go entirely. Two fountains used to occupy both pawns and now there are none. I believe I saw an entire family of ducks packing their stuff to head on out. Springfield... y'all put some bright LED street lights out and get this park back running like it was the 90s."
