"Simple road side / lakeside park with a single porta potty and basic playground for kids. The lakeside is in fresh water and has a swimming area. There are NO LIFEGUARDS here, so be careful and swim at your own risk within the sectioned swimming area. There is a small boat launch for motorized and personal watercraft. No room or trails to hike or play sports other than swimming and fishing. Great place to take a quick dip to cool off from the hot summer Florida heat."
"This park was a nice little dip. Had pavilions it wasn't that deep though if you wanted a nice swim. Great for little kids, it had a little park and a port-o-potty. Brought our dog and she had fun as well."
"Can get busy at times and you have to be careful of the boats and other watercraft that is not paying attention. The actual designated swimming area is small and full of grass. The seawall is hard to navigate as the steps are very slippery. I do not like the seawall as it was never necessary and is causing problems. I do go out to just walk in the water but I do also make sure to wear water shoes. Not uncommon to find broken glass and stray fish hooks. Also be mindful that this lake is full of alligators swimming alone near dusk and dawn is highly not recommended."
"Great Fresh Water Kayaking and small boating ramp. Designated swimming area that is pretty shallow and good for small children. Watch for ignorant PWC operators who ignore the “No Wake” buoys! Carry out your own trash, the park service doesn’t support waste bins. Port a Potty onsite can be sketchy at best. Small playground play set onsite."
"This is a great place to have a dip in the water. The swimming area is marked off to keep the kids safe from jet skiis and boats and there are several platforms built in the deeper areas to climb up on. There's a playground under some trees, covered picnic tables and a bathroom. My daughter has had two birthdays there and we always have fun!"
