Rock Landing 14620 Oak Street, Magnolia Springs, AL 36555

"Love love love kayaking up Magnolia Springs. We enjoy trying to get a little farther each time we paddle there. Rock landing, where you drop the kayaks, is not so great. It's a good way from the parking to the water. There is very little parking, and turning around is not easy. The trail is not good, very rutted, kind of grown-up, and mosquitoes are always horrible. No restrooms, sitting or picnic area You would think that as well off as the area seems, they'd have enough money to make a nice kayak launch."

"No the easiest kayak launch in the area but the water really nice and very close to the "Cold Hole" for swimming. You can paddle up the creek maybe another mile and a half before needing to turn around. Heading south is an option just be aware there are a lot of houses and boat traffic the further south you travel if it is a nice day out."

"Nice n shady. Not a long walk, but a rough walk to water. No dock or launch platform. But, gorgeous area with 4 parking spaces."
