"As a long time local, I went to this "barber" shop for the first time the other day. Upon entering I noticed that one of the barbers in the rear was finishing up so I was pleased there wouldn't be a wait. I explained to the barber what I was looking for and, in between conversations she had with the other barbers, she asked me a few questions about my cut. I asked for a trim but closer on the side and she got started. I noticed that she was using equipment that had not been cleaned since the previous customer, but she didn't quit "yacking" with the other barbers so I could get a word in. When she finished I put my glasses on and was surprised how short she had cut my hair and how dirty the shop was. Fortunately my hair will grow out but this barber should pay attention to what she is doing with her customer and quit talking with others non-stop while cutting hair............hopefully, the owner will discuss the need to focus on the customer and show them how to clean the shop and sterilize equipment they are using. Very disappointed............"

"July 3rd. Sunday. Needed a haircut badly. Have you ever tried to to find a barber on a holiday? On a Sunday? Welp, I googled one close to me and found Palm Harbor Barber shop open. So, headed out and ended out. When I pulled up Sunday morning around 10:30 am there were about 6 cars parked in front of the barber shop. I scratched my head because from the outside it looked like a 2 - 3 person shop. The place looked “cute” from the outside. Like a picture from a Time Life Magazine. When I walked in I was very surprised! There were about 8 or so barbers chopping hair. There were multiple rooms and the place was full. It is a warm, old school barber shop. Nostalgia hung on the walls in every room. I was great by Shea and she gave me a real nice cut and took her time to make sure I was satisfied. I come to find out that she plays full contact football in a woman’s league. This is one tough barber! I took a few photos to share with you. I will use them next time I get a little shaggy."
