"Waited over an hour for food. The waitress took our order and checked our drink once in an hour. She did not even come by to say anything about food running late. Nothing. We had one of the servers ask us if we were okay, and we asked about our food. She said that they had a takeout section on the other side, that they were behind, and that it would take a few minutes. No apologies. Nothing. We decided to leave after "a few minutes," which was not a few, by the way. We asked to pay for the drinks, and they said not to worry. We just left. We went to Lightsey's Seafood, and the service was great and quick. The food was delicious! Love their hush puppies! What we experienced at Good Spirits is common based on previous reviews. Will never go back."

"Ambience is amazingly islander. The exotic birds are precious with the names of each listed above their very nice cages. The food is very good, they have a really good fry cook because any of the fried foods are not greasy and the batter is fluffy and light. The waitresses are efficient and friendly. The seating is comfortable. The food is tasty the portions are huge and reasonable priced. This place is a hidden gem for eating, drinking and listening to good music."
