Small Giant - Bar and Restaurant

"The outside is super cute with the trees and lit up along the street. We ordered the nachos, Mac & cheese, and the OG burger. Everything was delicious! The entire staff was very friendly and on top of everything. Nice place for a romantic date night."

"This is my first time at this restaurant. I am not sure what happened tonight but they were severely understaffed. 1 server for inside and out poor guy. I understand his frustrations and being overwhelmed. He did not have help which was sad. The vegetable pizza was flavorless. Pickle pizza was pretty good. The nachos were like the bottom of the bag and mediocre. The tater tots tasted frozen like the pizza. The smashed OG burger was decent. Brussels sprouts were the best thing on the menu!"

"This restaurant was located in a very admirable part of town. Convenient to get to, and easy access to parking spots/garages. Upon arrival I was greeted nicely and sat in a timely manner. Now I will say I was sat and pretty much forgotten about until one of the servers came over to ask if I was ok. I did let him know that I hadn’t been served or placed an order which it was at least 15 min of me sitting. He did apologize and said he would tak e care of me. I let him know it was no worries and that I was told someone else was coming out to serve me. I ordered the Truffle Mushroom burger with a side of Kung Pao Brussel Sprouts. To me it was very good. The burger was juicy and the brussel sprouts were packed with flavor. I would come back again and try a couple of drinks and maybe an appetizer."

"The food is really good! I don't know what was our favorite, the pizza was good but the egg rolls and loaded tots stole the show for us! The sauces are all really good so try them all! Thank you for the opportunity to come back and try your food it was amazing!"

"Small Giant is a great addition to Water Street in downtown Tampa. The seating is limited, so it's best to call ahead to check for availability. Luckily, we got a table quickly as we were just a few blocks away. The interior has a modern bar vibe with both regular seating and bar stools. The menu is concise but has excellent options to choose from. Our waiter was courteous and gave good recommendations. This is an ideal spot for a quick lunch or drinks with friends. What was ordered: Red Pepper Hummus / French Dip Red Pepper Hummus = Hummus can be on the dry side so I would suggest trying it with something other than the chips. French Dip = The French Dip was delectable and very filling. I highly recommend it."
