"Decided to give this place a try tonight. Huge mistake. The set up is weird. You have to order drinks and food at the bar, then go seat yourself, and when your food is ready the bartender goes out to the food truck and brings it to you. We both got fish and chips. The fish was RAW and still pink and gooey. Asked them to redo it, and they did, but no apology. Got halfway through the second fish, and realized that wasn’t fully cooked either. It wasn’t very good fish to start with (not sure what kind of fish it even was, definitely not cod). They give you drinks in plastic cups, along with plastic dinnerware, and serve the food on paper that is red and white, and the red ink goes all over your food (obviously not food grade paper). I really should have gone in and asked for my money back, but we both were feeling queasy from the raw food so we just left. I highly recommend you stay away from this place. I have no idea how it’s survived since 1966, unless it has really good drinks!!"

"We sat outside and arrived about 2:30. An odd time of day but we wanted a cold beer, lunch and to check out the remodel. We ordered drinks and food from the food truck inside. The roses were blooming and were beautiful! There was only one other couple there at the time and there were no servers. This was no problem and we went back inside once to get refills. The food was excellent! We had the spicy egg rolls, fish and chips and the chicken wrap. Limited menu but it was a decent selection. Enjoyed the casual atmosphere. Will definitely go back. I think I would have preferred to have been waited on and that’s the only reason for the 4 stars."

"Completely new and welcoming atmosphere at Sir Richard’s. Large bar seating area, outdoor seating and pool tables. Corn hole area outside too. Medium sized craft cocktail menu made to order. Some local beer on tap. Food truck outside with only one thing on the menu, Fish and Chips. Big enough portion to be split by two looking for a snack. You can order inside or outside. (Don’t forget to tip the chef) No food menu yet, the fish and chips is $12.99. They said more food items will be coming out in the next couple weeks. With all the improvements I would like to see a bike rack, but there is plenty is space to park bicycles behind the planters. We had a great time see you again soon."
