"Pass on this salon! Here is an email I sent the salon owner. They are rude and not a salon you want to spend money at. Posting in full for context as the owner feels it was blackmail to ask for a refund in an email versus sharing with the public my experience. I don’t need the $275 + $55 tip that bad but apparently they do. Hi there, I was hoping I didn’t have to complain again, but I can’t with how unhappy I am with my hair. I am in sales and my image is important. Since 2017, I have had my hair either with a Brazilian blowout, or a keratin treatment. You can check my social media and see the different styles I’ve had through the years. My hair right now is the worst it has ever looked. In April 2023, I saw Vincent for a curly keratin treatment, and I was very happy with the results. As I was able to blow dry my hair as needed, but still have my beautiful curls. I know Vincent left, but I wanted to support local and I went back to your salon instead of his salon in Winter Park. Even though I was not familiar with the stylist. I was charged $275 - what a full keratin treatment costs. After calling you to discuss, you said you would refund the difference. There is a BIG difference in the time it takes for curly keratin vs straight and the price should not be the same. At the first appointment, the Charles Garcia seemed surprised I was having a curly keratin treatment done. The salon didn’t have the correct product in stock and he treated my hair for over an hour with a keratin treatment that I think damaged my hair. I’m not sure how much protein hair follicles can take, but my hair has never been this dry. Even my husband, who loves to give me compliments, says he cannot compliment me on my hair. When I went back to fix what was done the first time with Charles, it has not made my hair look better. It is worse. I’m embarrassed to go out and even to social media marketing I usually do. I want nothing more than to tell people I know not to go to your salon. But as a business owner, I feel it is only fair to write to you personally to express my dissatisfaction. I don’t want to affect your business with my situation. Because I now have to go to another salon and fix my hair, I am asking for a full refund on my keratin services plus tip, instead of leaving a negative review. This picture was taken last night. Look at the frizz in my hair. That should not be there with a keratin treatment and low humidity. And in this picture, I even used the Keratese product I purchased for $90 to make my hair curly and to refresh the curls, after I left the KTexture mask on for 20 minutes. Attached is a picture from April 23, 2023 and what I was expecting with the texture treatment. It's clear my hair did not get the same treatment. I hope we can resolve this peacefully and still part as friends. I understand mistakes happen. I just want to go to another stylist and fix my hair. THERE ARE BETTER SALONS IN LAKE NONA - PASS ON THIS ONE."

He recently did an incredible balayage on my hair. The color outcome was insane! I’m so happy to find him."
