"Went to a private estaishment and they didnt have the part. Went in to the longwood pinch a penny to buy a replacement hose fitting and or hose and the guy immediately tried to upsell me on a whole new system. I told him in so many words I wasnt buying it and I know what I need. He was hell bent and tried to make me believe I was all wrong and needed an entire new system. I walked out, went to the Lake Mary store and the guy helped me get the part I needed. I inquired about changing to a salt system and he educated me on what they have. I will be buying a saltsystem from the lake mary store. If thuis guy tried this on me, I cannot imagine the stuff he sells to woman that is not needed. Buyers beware."

"Their prices are so high, I needed to go to Walmart for fine pool salt and purchased 3 bags for their 2. I also found the same pool filters, and chemicals substantially less on Amazon. I prefer to buy locally, but they are often 15-25% more expensive."

"My pool pump went down recently and I went to Pinch A Penny and Assistant Mgr. Mark helped me get the right pump and get all the proper gaskets and I reinstalled a new pump MYSELF! I am super happy with his help and I saved a lot of money and installed it myself! Thank you Mark you are awesome! Mark has helped me many times over the years with a new pool cleaner and other fixes. He seemingly knows everything about pool repair so if you need help ask for Mark! A++++++++++"

"Never had a bad experience. I don't understand these other reviews. Maybe competitors leaving reviews? I wasn't creepy enough to wait and watch how they interact with women. Never ripped me off. Their prices for Polaris parts are priced along with Amazon for the most part. I think the staff is decent. They seem to hire kids but that's what you find at other places too. I don't know, I know I never had a problem."
