"I gave a positive review several years ago but today I am forced to change of my own volition. I compared the chain pharmacies to this one with a positive light. However this has changed. This pharmacy is now worse than the chains. Today I went into Walgreens to fill a C-IV medicine. Walgreens said that it could be filled two days earlier. So instead of leaving it with them and having to drive 40 miles to retrieve a few days later I decided to let Pierson Pharmacy have it even though I was told it was not in stock. Not being in stock is okay because I couldn't have it filled for a few days allowing them time to order. (I later found out they did have it stock.) When I arrived at Pierson Pharmacy they said I had to wait the for 90 days of the last prescription. Since when? This pharmacy has always allowed any controlled to be filled at least two days earlier to avoid a patient from running out of said medication. So I will be returning it to Walgreens along with all my other prescriptions. What makes this so frustrating is that there is no consistency in "store policy". In fact their other location in Deland, FL still refills "2 or 3 days" early. There is no law saying a prescription cannot be refilled in a two day early situation. So I now I have to bring the prescription back to Deland Walgreens when I could have just left it for later pickup."
