The Blowout Blowdry Bar

"I started visiting a local blow dry bar/salon, and the experience with all the hair stylists was exceptional. I like all the girls working there but I made friends with Julie who always listens attentively to my preferences, offers valuable suggestions, and executes our common vision with precision. The salon has a welcoming atmosphere, and the staff is friendly and professional."

"It takes a lot for me to write a bad review! I’m not a proponent of putting negativity out into the universe but I must say I was completely taken back by this service I received from Joalannie on 1/13/24 (not sure of spelling). I must admit, that was the roughest shampoo, blowout and styling I’ve ever had in my life! I felt man handled. As I was being shampooed, she was so incredibly rough in the way She was shampooing my hair, and then in the blowout just pulling like crazy. I literally felt like my hair was probably falling out while she was doing it. Then I wanted my hair curled. I showed her a photo which was big loose curls and I ended up with tight small curls. Even while she was curling my hair, she was pulling like crazy. In addition, I did have her put in my clip in extensions, which are multiple pieces. Even after clipping them in and her pulling my hair to curl it it was just unbelievable. It’s only natural to think that if you’re putting a clip in in and then you’re curling and pulling like that that it would pull out. She had to re-clip each one because they Became loose because of the pulling. It was unbelievable. I didn’t say anything, because I just wanted to get it finished and get out of there. I also did not want to cause a scene. When she was finished, I didn’t even have her hairspray my hair, because the curls were so tight. But then, she checked me out, and Because the stylist that handles you checks you out they put right in front of you the credit card machine which almost makes you feel pressured to tip them, even if they didn’t do a good job. I asked her her name to make sure that I had it. I embarrassingly gave her a 20% tip because I didn’t want any confrontation and just wanted to get out of there. The credit card machine has already 20% and higher and/or custom so it’s right there on the screen. I don’t think I’ll ever be going back!"

"My daughter has been struggling a lot in school and we decided it would be a good idea to get a hair cut… it was very clear the hair stylist was new but she was very sweet. She was struggling with my daughters hair and she needed to help from I think the manager who stated she needed to blow dry the hair to make sure it was even… ($35 up-charge by the way) which wasn't communicated. We were planning to do a temp hair color change at home after the cut so the blow dry wasn't necessary…. Either way, her hair is uneven. I didn't want my daughter to freak out so i didn't press the issue- i was afraid she would have to keep cutting it more and more… so we paid and left. the staff was nice though."

"I booked Lynn for a silk press and Absolutely loved my hair I’m a natural curly girl and Lynn was amazing! She was super informative and talked me through every step of the way of what she was doing! She has a lot of knowledge with natural hair. I can’t wait to her for my curly treatment 10/10 will definitely recommend and will be coming back!"
