"Avoid this place at all costs. I came to get my ends dusted less than half an inch. I was open to the front pieces framing my face a bit more. This “stylist” cut a chunk of hair from the front that’s now at MY NOSE. I’ve never in my life have been to such a careless hair stylist. She cut 4-5 inches from a front piece of hair and wasn’t even aware that she did it. This is the WORST experience I’ve ever had. She should be embarrassed to be working in a salon. This is going to take over a year to grow back. She had the audacity to charge me for the cut."

"I share this experience, never have I shared an experience anywhere before. I checked in online and was #1 and head to the shop. There were people already in the shop , but I seated promptly and greeted properly. I put my phone down and my HEARING AIDS. She put the apron on me and made sure it was comfortable. She made some comment the same cut a number 1, I don’t know what a number 1 is, but I have had scissors cut for years, and always this location confirmed scissors cut. I assumed we are ok, she brought out the clippers and immediately went to the side burn area, unusual but maybe not out of line because often time the operators use clippers to finish the side burns. Then she made her first cut with the clippers, suddenly I had less hair in that one pass , probably since 1962. No point in stopping her, with the business full of people no sense making a scene. And yes she got a tip, lesson learned don’t assume anything!"

"I use to go to this great clips not only because it's really close to home but I always have a good experience, until today. Went in and when the lady (Maricel or Mariel) she asked if I wanted shampoo I said no thank you, she asked if I needed just trim the tips, I said, I don't want to touch the length but I want layers (I have very curly hair) she proceeded to say I needed shampoo because my hair is curly, I said no I didn't last time I came and it was amazing. Then she started running her fingers thru my hair and try to pull out to show me how tangled my hair was, I said yes it's curly, we don't brush every day. She grabbed a spray bottle and brused my hair like a mad mother with the worst child. I hurt bad. She even made a face and shook her had when I left. They need to check the people who work there. Very unpleasant stylist."

"I go to Great Clips of the Belmont Shopping Mall due to the convenience of being near to my home. This store is growing business; which unfortunately impacts their wait time to get a haircut. In the last 3 months, my expected wait time was above 50 minutes when I use the app to book my appointment. Usually there are only 2-3 stylists available, when they have capacity for more. I go on weekdays. There is some rotation with the stylists that work at the store. Every time I get a haircut, I find myself with a new stylist. Due to this, my expectations are to get a haircut and if the cut is not as expected, it will grow again. I also need to say that there are a couple of stylists that are the core of the store and you can see and admire how well do they service and cut hair. Two things are required for this store to raise star level - waiting time (add more stylists) and more stability with the stylists."

"1/6/23- I went back and got my haircut by Hope, it came out perfect! She gave me the exact angle short bob I showed her in the picture. I'm very happy with the cut from Hope! 10/22- First time here because I've always been leary of cheap haircuts, but they're right across the street and I wanted something quick and affordable. The service was great! I downloaded the app and checked in online so I didn't have to wait when I arrived. Madison gave me a wonderful shampoo head massage and trimmed my hair just how I wanted it. She didn't go too short right away, and let me look to decide if that was enough or to cut more. I will definitely go back for my haircuts. No wait, same day service and I was out of there in 30 min."
