"Always have a great experience and my hairdresser. Amy cuts everyone’s hair and she does a wonderful job."
"I go here all the time… never again. new lady got me today. I have the simplest of haircuts and I mostly just wear a hat- but I have never in my life felt so uncomfortable and worried in a barber chair. She had no idea what she was doing… used her hand to brush my hair instead of a comb… and could not do a high and tight fade to save her life. I just booked at Turning Heads across the way to hopefully fix this mess. Zero stars. Do not pass go, do not collect $200."
"Used the app to verify wait time and check-in. Miranda did haircut, very pleasant. Thank you. Perfect."
"I’m definitely very disappointed in the associate I dealt with. A year ago I posted a great review. I kept coming here after I moved to this side of town a few years ago. Unfortunately my last experience soured all of this. Here’s what happened: I stopped over to get a haircut, and I was a few minutes early. I pulled the door handle to check, not open. No problem. I continued waiting. I then saw someone come to the door (not open it), turn on the open sign, and go back to what they were doing. I tried the door again, but it didn’t open. I was feeling fine, I didn’t mind waiting longer. After a few more minutes, I tried the door, and it opened. The first reaction I get is an attitude, with the woman blaming me for wasting my time outside. I kept my cool, but asked why she was mad. She said she wasn’t, angrily. At that point, I thought it best to leave. I told her gently that I was going elsewhere, and apologized (though I’d done nothing wrong). She said to have a good day, but with that same attitude. Why treat customers this way? It makes no sense. Did I come in throwing attitude? Absolutely not. It’s very disrespectful. If you hate your job, do something about it. If you hate customers, find a non-customer service job that you can get with your likely high school degree. I was absolutely polite, and didn’t start anything. You have no right. Get over yourself. This associate needs an attitude adjustment."
"It took me about 4 hours to shampoo, condition, blow dry and flat iron my hair. My hair is naturally curly, so today was hat day because I had plans to get my hair trimmed. When I arrived at great clips, I was excited because I hadn’t had a trim in a while, and the stylist convinced me to try a curtain bang. As I started taking my hair down (it was French braided under the cap), she asked if I wanted a wet or dry cut. I immediately stated that I wanted a dry cut. I explained that my hair texture was super curly and any water on it would bring my curls out. She said ok, no problem. As we are chatting about the curtain bang look, she proceeds to spray my hair. So I said, ma’am, what’s that?? Reminding her that any water would cause my hair to frizz. She said oh, it’s just some conditioner and a slight mist. My hair begins to frizz, and she’s like oh, I didn’t know it would frizz this much. -_- so she attempts to trim my hair and expected me to tell her what I thought of the results. I told her I couldn’t tell what she did because my hair is an Afro at this point. I paid the bill and even left her a tip. 10 minutes later, I’m seriously bothered because my hair is now a ball of puff, and I’m dreading having to go home, wash and blow dry and flat iron it again. I called up to great clips and asked the stylist if she could at least flat iron my hair, and she said since she was the only stylist there, she couldn’t but told me it shouldn’t take me long to blow dry it. When I tried to explain how long it took she hung up on me. I’ve received service at this Great Clips before. My mother, my sister, and my daughter also use this salon. Generally, the service is great. Not this time. I’m not sure if we will return but if we do we will not use this stylist."
