"Let’s get into it. I was looking for a stylist that can travel to my mother’s house to do a crochet hairstyle for her. I found Tasha of Mobile Houz of Glam on StyleSeat and had my mom book Tasha. My mother reached out to Tasha on the phone and Tasha assured my mother she had the appointment booked and was prepared to do her hair for her, including arriving with the hair for the install. The appointment was booked 4 weeks in advance. The night before the appointment, Tasha reached out to my mother with a story that she was exposed to someone who had Covid and said tested negative. Then Tasha tried to wiggle her way out of the appointment by telling my mother that if she is uncomfortable with keeping the appointment she would cancel it and offer a partial credit for a subsequent appointment. My mother informed her that she is fully vaccinated and wanted to keep the appointment as is. Tasha confirmed the appointment. Let’s get the the day of the appointment. Tasha was a no show, no call. Nothing. My mother reached out to her by phone and text and Tasha never answered. To go from weeks of communication and then not show up on the day of the appointment was the most unprofessional, hood rat experience we have had with any hairstylist on Style Seat. Tasha of Houz of Glam is a lying scam artist. Can she do hair? We will never know because she failed to show up to an appointment that she confirmed. We will also be contacting Style Seat to have her removed from the app so that she does not pull the same stunt on another person. STAY FAR AWAY from this one."
