"These franchise style hair salons are hit or miss. The staff are constantly rotating either to other stores of the same brand or just someplace else. This makes it difficult to find someone you are comfortable with and is consistent. Basically if you just need to get your hair cut and don't have the time to establish a relationship in a traditional barber shop then it works. But if you're seeking something more then it's a roulette."

"I went in for a small trim and I left with the worst haircut I’ve ever gotten. At first I thought the trim was fine but then she offered to add layers. I said that was fine as long as they were LONG cause I needed them to fit in a ponytail. She started cutting away at my hair and before I could stop her, I had extremely chunky layers. The “face framing” was all over the place and extended back to half my head. It didn’t blend and you can clearly see two completely different lengths. When I was asked how I liked it, I expressed my concerns but all I got were defensive comments and then she tried to make it seem like it was my fault that she cut off almost 4 inches of my hair. I’m supposed to leave for vacation tomorrow so in a panic and crying I had to find a salon to fix it. When I got there they basically told me it was a botched haircut but they would do their best to blend it. It’s so much shorter than I wanted to be and it definitely doesn’t fit in a ponytail anymore but thankfully Slayed Salon down the street was able to save the day. It was $18+ for a haircut at Great Clips… save your money and go to Slayed Salon for $25 cause they really know what they’re doing and they’re so nice!"
