"Hi, I am very disappointed with the service I received my a full set and gel color change on my toes. I was charged 93 dollars and I'm not happy with what i spent for it not to last long and not to look like how i wanted it to. When i called for a refund, They offered to fix the broken nail but i didnt see the point if i wasnt happy the first time."
"Amy is amazing!!! Called an hour before my appointment and was able to schedule for 3:45 without realizing they closed at 5, she still didn’t rush, made my nails look perfect, and I got exactly what I wanted. Thank you guys so much!"
"I don't get my nails done much at all. This was literally my 2nd time ever. I went in to get my nails done for a wedding, with the bride. Walking in, the atmosphere was kind of intimidating but after I got my nail tech, True, I eased up. He got right to work and answered any questions I had. I had a great experience with him, I felt listened to, and I'll definitely go back to him for all my nail needs. Thank you, True!"
"Let me begin by stating that I personally have been getting acrylic and dip nails for over 10 years and our kiddo for the last four years. We've received services at this salon 3x over the last 90-days. One getting a nail service (acrylics) and the other pedicures. During my second pedicure I've noticed accumulated scrubs and lotion products under the foot rests. Paying attention to how often my water splashed on the bottom of that foot rest I became concerned. When trying to bring this up to my tech at the time they said "Don't worry about it". I decided to not receive pedicure services at this salon any longer. Due this I checked out all the nail stations more closely and everything seemed in order. We made the decision to let our daughter continue to see her preferred nail tech, and I sit next to her each time (almost 17). Well, on this third service on 9/18 she decided on longer nails for HOCO (not her first rodeo with a medium length nail). Now we are a week in, and we returned to the salon on 9/22 and 9/25. Fully prepared to pay for the fix the first time I was surprised when it was free. At the time I didn't have cash on me for a tip. On 9/25 (fix free) I tipped $10 for both repairs. At this point, we were wondering what is going as our daughter knows how to take care of her beauty standards carefully, but we set the thought aside. By 9/26 two additional nails broke where the others did, right where the fake tip was placed. Four (4) broken nails on a $95 set with now totalling $25 in tips is a bit tough to accept. This morning I called Noir Nail Bar where a lady picked up and I requested a manager/owner (whom later admitted she is not a manager or owner). After some time explaining my concerns it was played off the set already being a week old and she'd be happy to offer a new set at 50%. While the offer is generous, I declined since I have been to this place three times in a week. Clearly, something is wrong with the application itself. I'll accept a nail or two, but this is something else. I informed the lady that I won't accept the offer and I'll take matters further to report them to the BBB (now I am feeling ripped off). She informs me she is not a Manager or Owner. I offered her to share this information with Manager or Owner and have them give me a call back to resolve this. Unfortunately, the lady returns my call advising me she spoke with the nail tech and this is my daughters fault since she must not know how to take care of long nails as she hasn't had them before. To be honest, I was shocked. The only reason why we tried a new nail salon is the convinence of their location during the week, but I'll return to my salon of two years, where we never encountered such nail problems or service. They'll be happy to see all my money return to them, including my referrals. I'll be out of my money, harsh lesson learned in this economy and I'll file a report with BBB, but I thought the chop shop culture was a myth. Guess not."
