"Delightfully indulgent! Craving fresh and hot donuts, we found ourselves at Meaney's Mini Donuts. We were welcomed with pleasant smiles. The young staff helped us pick a couple popular options and we thoroughly enjoyed the hot gooey goodness on a cold night!! We went in for seconds and enjoyed those too! The gracious customer service made this visit memorable!! Thank you to the team!"
"My visit to Meaney's Donuts in St. Armand's Circle was a delightful and affordable indulgence, making it the perfect pitstop for a quick snack while exploring the vibrant shopping district. I was drawn to this establishment by a previous experience in Texas, where I had the pleasure of trying Big Red mini donuts, the promise of inventive flavors was met as soon as I entered and viewed the posted menu. I opted for the apple pie and strawberry cheesecake mini doughnuts, and both were exceptional. What sets Meaney's apart is their commitment to freshness – every order of these delectable treats is not cooked until ordered, travels a small conveyor belt fryer and is topped and served to you seconds later. The result is a warm, melt-in-your-mouth experience that truly elevates the classic donut. The menu at Meaney's Donuts is a treasure trove of options rarely found in typical donut shops. The variety is staggering, offering a delightful departure from the ordinary. Customer service here was excellent as well, as I asked first if I could do a half and half order of two flavors, and then asking if I could add cinnamon & sugar to the apple pie donuts, all of which were met with a absolutely! This personalized touch added a layer of warmth and flavor that made the already delicious donuts even more memorable. What makes Meaney's Donuts even more appealing is their affordability. In a bustling shopping area like St. Armand's Circle, where many restaurants are somewhat pricey, Meaney's offers a budget-friendly option for a tasty and satisfying snack. Whether you're strolling through the shops or enjoying the vibrant atmosphere, Meaney's provides a delicious and cost-effective indulgence for those with a sweet tooth, that can be enjoyed on a bench just across the street. If you find yourself in St. Armand's Circle and crave a donut experience beyond the ordinary, Meaney's is the place to be. You'll receive a fresh product from people offering great customer service, all at a price that wont break the bank."
"The store, the service, and the food is lovely. The Donuts are on the lighter sider, rather than the heavy dough side. Perfectly fried, not overly sweet. All the store merch is fun & quirky. The music isn't too loud and it's just an enjoyable place to walk into."
"I recently had the opportunity to visit Meaney's Mini Donuts on n St.Armands Circle in Sarasota, and while I appreciate the charm of its location in a tourist area, I must express some disappointment with my experience. Upon entering, I was greeted by a rather strong odor of what seemed to be recycled oil, which did raise concerns about the freshness of the donuts. It was a bit off-putting, to be honest. Additionally, the donuts themselves were noticeably greasier than I prefer. It felt like they had been fried in a substantial amount of oil, resulting in a heavy and less than ideal texture. While it's understandable that businesses in tourist-centric areas may have a different set of priorities, I believe that quality and consistency should not be compromised. Meaney's Mini Donuts might cater to the transient crowd, but for discerning locals or those seeking a superior donut experience, there are certainly better options available. I hope that they can consider these aspects to enhance their offerings for a broader range of customers."
"I can only say that these donuts look tasty as I didn’t get to try any. They only allow you to buy a minimum of 6 and I only wanted a few. I wish that they would make an option to buy a smaller quantity. They are made fresh to order and all look amazing. There isn’t really seating inside, I would say it’s more of an in and out coffee joint. The best parking is street parking! If there isn’t any close by, plan to walk!"
