"Anytime you can find a course in season for $60 during the week in Florida…you know you’re getting a substandard golf course. Buyers beware. Fort Myers CC, Eastwood, or Palmetto Pines (New Back 9 is awesome and they’ll have a new front 9 next year) are three much much better options."

"Absolutely one of the worst golf courses for the money I’ve played in over 40 years. We were charged $136 each for a course with fairways that had unbelievably tight (no or little grass?) lies. Hadn’t had rain in at least 6 days, yet there were puddles on cart paths with mud so bad it was difficult to park the cart with a dry spot to step on. Extremely poor drainage over the entire course. The greens had decent speed, but were bumpy. A simple rolling of them could work wonders. Their “new tees now open” was advertised. If this is the case, I can’t imagine what the old ones looked like. They also advertise a complete renovation was done , I believe, last year. This course looks like it is way overdue for a renovation. The cart paths were the narrowest of any I’ve ever experienced. Whenever the path curved, you had to be paying attention or you would run off the edge into the abundance of mud. Had I spent $35 for this course, I’d have felt overcharged. All this to say there are far too many better options in the Cape Coral area. Don’t waste your time or money at Cape Royal."

"A great layout for 27 holes, however after greens being better and new tee boxes this past summer the biggest problems are the bare fairways which look like disease as taken over and all crab grass around greens. With all the rain they should be lush and green like my club at Herons Glen. Way to much money for this place in this condition. I don't believe the comments of how great the condition of the course is in. Must be employees comments. Please don't ask me to call to talk to management, just try to fix the problem."

"Mark the front desk and I am mad I don't know the starters name but all were just awesome welcoming and informative. Great rental clubs available. Course is in great shape, fun & challenging. After round bar staff was equally welcoming attentive and food was delicious!!! Can't wait to get back!"
