Reviews of Royal Greens
"Unfortunately the Property Management and HOA board are not well run and are extremely unhelpful. They cause more issues for themselves by throwing out flagrant violations. The HOA spends our own money just to scare us with lawyers. It’s truly hell living in this community with the current HOA and Property Management and I am not the only community member who feels this way."
"I have lived here for almost 2 years and I should have left after the first! If this complex isn’t doing construction at 8am they are trimming trees or finding some other way to wake their residents up. Also the front desk assistant is very matter of fact and should not be working in customer service. I will not be renewing my lease and I would not recommend it to anyone who works late and doesn’t wake up before 8am."
"We lived there for 2 years. We left for (2) reasons higher costs for not much in return and poor management. The landlord was very good. However, the property management is not good at all. Just read the reviews. If you are on a ground floor unit you’ll hear every footstep the upstairs tenant makes. Not their fault it’s just the building construction. There are 2 older ladies on the condo board that look for any reason to give residents $100+ fines. There are no garages or even carports. So expect to wash your vehicle every other day as the trees will mess up your paint. I wouldn’t recommend living at Royal Greens."
"I would not recommend living here if you are under the age of 35 years old and/or own a dog. There are tons of rules that are unnecessary and create inconveniences. The board of directors for the HOA are made up of 3 old white men (which is not a fair representation of the population) and renters aren't allowed to participate in the board meetings, therefore renters input doesn't matter. The 3 old white men create and enforce rules that represent their values, not the values of the Royal Greens Community. The old people are constantly staring down the young people judging our every move because they have nothing better to do with their life. The Royal Greens property management staff encourages community building but the only event they have is a coffee social during working hours on the weekday, hence no one young can attend because we have jobs. Oh and by the way the complex is super outdated and there are bugs in the hallways. Here are some of the rules to give you an idea: -designated dog bathroom area is on a tiny piece of grass in the back of the complex. Sounds sanitary right?? Clearly the person that made that rule has no idea it's impossible to get your dog to hold their pee until you walk across the complex to the bathroom area. The old people are creepy and watch your every move and then call the office to tell on you if you break a rule. retirement must be thrilling... -there are tons of beautiful grass areas to walk through but you're not allowed to with your animal.... -they claim to have a dog park but there's no fenced in area so you can't take your dog off-leash to play -they used to have a back gate entrance but when the front gate broke a few years ago they decided to take the back gate box and put it in the front gate to save money and never replaced the back gate, although i was told the back gate worked when i moved in. -you can get passive-aggressive letters on your door saying you broke a certain rule and they can fine you with 0 proof since it's the old people's word against yours. They even sent a letter to every person that owned a dog in my building saying someone reported all of us for not using the designate dog bathroom areas. Look I understand this rule if owners don't pick up after their dogs but not once has anyone not cleaned up after the dog so not sure why you care so much. Apparently it hurts the fake grass but how come the grass in the dog bathroom area looks more alive then the fake grass where dogs aren't allowed to go? -if you have a visitor who needs to park at the complex over night you have to somehow track down a rent-a-security guard who is apparently walking around the complex to ask for a pass. I've yet tracked down this person when I need them... -If your overnight visitor doesn't obtain the pass then the complex slaps an obnoxiously large sticker on your front windshield that's impossible to get off. if you get caught again your car gets towed. -The gym and pool close at dusk which stinks for those who want to work out past 8pm. -The gym has a basketball court and pickleball court but you're only allowed to have 1 guest. So much for a game of pickleball doubles.. Overall all the perks of what attracts you to live at this complex are all diluted due to the rules that don't even represent the people. Save yourself the headache and don't buy or rent at Royal Greens if you own a dog and/or under the age of 35 years old."
"Nice and quiet, however the guard they have is a creep, and as a single mother makes me very uncomfortable at the pool area with my children. He enforces rules to certain tenants and not others, mostly harassing younger residents I've noticed. My boys had a nerf ball they were tossing in the pool (they are well behaved kids, and tossing it two feet apart) and he quickly went over and told them to throw him the ball and confiscated it, and asked where their mother is as I was right behind him. I said I'm right here! He told me they weren't allowed to play with it in the pool. I understood, but his demeanor was strange, and he then sat and stared at us for the remainder of the pool stay, and kept saying things to my kids. Who does this guy think he is? I might be somewhat understanding if my kids were unruly, but they aren't! Totally uncomfortable knowing this guy is lurking around the condos.. young family and young women beware. Borderline harassment. Beautiful pool, if you can get passed the gawking creeping guard."
