"I walked into this salon for an impromptu pedicure while in the area running errands. The pedicure started out ok; turned on the massage chair, warm water, sugar scrub and all that. Then the guy gets into the actual painting of the nails. I don’t know if it was an old dried out polish or that he just didn’t care to pay attention to detail, but I I’m pretty sure I could have done a better job with my eyes closed. Ok ok…I exaggerate. But, when I decide to pay someone to paint my nails, I expect they are going to do a good job of it. The consistency was uneven; thicker in some places, thinner in others. I felt bad for the guy and I don’t like complaining, but for $44, I had to say something. So he comes over and takes off the old polish and starts to repaint them…with the SAME OLD DRIED OUT POLISH. I suggested that maybe this polish is a little older and we can try a different one. So we go with a new bottle of polish. The second time around is better, I’ll give him that. But he’s clearly irritated, doesn’t make eye contact, doesn’t respond or say anything, just points where he wants me to go when he’s done. By now I’m just sorry I came in, and I make it clear that I’m not going to pay $44 for this service. The man who did my pedicure doesn’t even acknowledge that I’m still in the salon. The older lady near the front gives me a sob story about needing to pay rent and electricity and no we don’t give refunds. She points to the sign on the wall stating “all sales are final”. Convenient. I told her that I’m more than willing to pay for the service I received, but that I did not receive a $44 level of service. Mind you, I wasn’t asking for a refund, simply a discount for spending the last 2 hours of my life on an initially botched and “just ok” pedicure. Ladies: There are a thousand different places you could go to get your nails done. My suggestion: skip this one. (Photos are of the storefront and of the second painting of my nails.)"
