"Great service and my pool chemicals are spot on. Thanks, PaP! Jay keeps my pool chemicals perfect for the last 6 months. Thank you!"
"Very friendly staff, the managers are exceptional, as well as the owner Rick very knowledgeable and took the time to educate me about pool chemicals always recommended to newcomers in the pool and spa industry and everyone else for the free water tests and easy access to every chemical needed along with any part needed for repairs or maintenance."
"This location has one of the worst rollover’s for employees. If you want things not handled your pool turning green and just the worst customer service this is your location. The owner rick is a great guy and tries his hardest with the employees he has available. Unfortunately, they can’t seem to keep stable employees which ends up turning into horrible customer, service, and treatment of your pool. Multiple items, not being taken care of paying to have your pool brushed and not getting brushed chemicals not closely monitored and the list goes on."
"We’ve had Pinch A Penny in Parrish service our pool for the last year. Our pool was installed a year ago with our home. Recently, we had other pool professionals look at the finish of our pool while stopping by for other maintenance. They noted that the chemicals being used are not properly maintaining the pool. We have a great deal of copper build up on our finish. Our heater has been checked and there is no issue there. After contacting Pinch A Penny we requested that a manger come out to view the copper build up and we were told that we’d receive a call back before he stops by. We never received a call back from the manager so ended up stopping into the store today with a water sample. Our pool had just been serviced this morning, but upon checking our water there were many chemicals that the store recommended we add. Isn’t that what we pay for each week by having our pool serviced? Shouldn’t we have piece of mind knowing that when we pay this company they’re actually maintaining the chemicals in our pool and checking weekly? While in the store to discuss the copper build up in the pool due to their improper maintenance they charged US $200 for a chemical to fix their mistake. We will be switching to a new company. If you’re considering this location to maintain your pool, I’d look elsewhere."
"Shameful marketing tactic. Thick, unrecyclable bag mailed as a marketing gimic "10% off anything you can fit in the bag". I don't have a pool. Disgraceful environmental waste. Instead, send a paper bag, or say "pick one up in-store". How many bags were sent out? Now it's just going to a landfill with probably hundreds or thousands of other unusable bags."
