"We needed to have a new filter put in for our pool. After speaking with Heather, who guided us with what we needed, we purchased it and set a date for installation. 4 days later Cliff came out to do the job. He is extremely knowledgeable, very polite and conscientious about the job he does. Perfect.------ UPDATE **** 02/06/2024.... I had a problem with my 1 year old pump and called Heather to see if the problem could be under warranty. She was able to get the part replaced under warranty and sent Paul which is one of their Techs out to replace it. Paul and Heather are both very knowledgeable, polite , conscientious and a definite asset to their company. Paul replaced the defective part and was tested good. Both Heather and Paul went above and beyond to correct my problem. I would give them 10 stars if I could ! Extremely satisfied !"
"Don't put up with partially filled jugs! I was forced to run in here for a chlorine refill on a Sunday because the smaller places were closed. As the woman who exchanged my jug was checking me out, I noticed the level was clearly below the line, which I told her. She walked over to the cart where the jug was sitting and made sure to bump the cart before trying to argue with me that it was up to the line, as the liquid sloshes around. So it's obvious they know what they are doing and have their fraud down to a science. Jugs are pre-underfilled, exchanged, and rolled out on a shaky cart that keeps the liquid moving so customers don't notice. Stay away!"
"I have a pool and it is turning green again An I ask the owner if I could get an extension So the pool would get service he said no I think the owner of pinch a penny of Beverly hills Florida cares more about making money Then helping his customers I'm on disability and don't have much money it's sad know one Will help you"
"Spoke with the owner of the Pinch A Penny store in Beverly Hills Fl regarding our pool cleaning service. We hired them to cover cleaning our pool while we are gone for the summer. We initially started with them in 2022. We had to call them 2-3 times to tell them our pool was not clean and was in fact green. They managed to stumble through the rest of the summer managing to keep our pool relatively clean for the rest of the summer. Fast forward to summer 2023. on 7/22/23 Had to call them again because of the pool being green and full of algae. Spoke with the owner Jim (very rude...must think he's a shooter because he owns a Pinch A Penny franchise...) who told me "I don't follow up on each pool our people service every time". This would be a sensible response (however rude and dismissive it is) if we hadn't had to call them several times in the past for the same problem! Shows how much his customers mean to his business. We paid the amount that they charged to clean our pool and never missed a payment. What we didn't pay for was them keeping our pool "kinda" clean! The attached pictures are from the very day after they "cleaned" our pool! I would not recommend this business for anything involving pool cleaning unless you want to spend your summer aggravated! Avoid. Unfortunately I couldn't leave NO stars. Please look at my other reviews. Most are positive. I don't write a negative review unless I think it might help someone else in the future. BTW, I see that they only respond to the positive comments they get on Google Reviews. Very poor business practices."
