"These people make the transition so difficult. I did my application before the deadline, and then they call me about the income paper, I corrected it. Several people have call me and said I am approve, but I have not receive the cert yet. My son have been put out of aftercare, and now I have to leave work to pick him up. I am in dire need of this assistance, but ELC seem like they do not care. Now school back and I am being ask have I full out the docu sign what the case worker sent me since Dec 29.. can someone please reach out to me in reference to this matter I cannot afford to lose my job please."
"I have had the worst experience with my specialist. And unfortunately no one has reached out to me to try to resolve this situation. I have left multiple messages with the specialist Samantha Cameron & the eligibility supervisor Ms. Pierre. I have been following up multiple times a day, Facebook messages, emails, and nothing. The staff claims that they are trying to help but when it comes down to the specialist actually doing their job and you trying to expidite the process they are very quick to the delay you and make you wait an additional 2 weeks because it falls within their 10 business day processing period. You cant receive their service without employment, but waiting on their service will cost you your job. This unfortunately has happened in the past & seems it will be happening again."
"I unfortunately have been waiting a year for services have reapplied every 6 months like you're supposed to and have yet to receive help for my 2 little girls ages 4 and under. I have called numerous times and am told that "there is no specific order some people who sign up today can receive services as opposed to those still waiting." That explains why people I know personally have gotten help the month they are approved as opposed to my experience of waiting a year and i'm still waiting. I am unable to work more hours to help get my family up and running due to waiting and waiting on this list. I hope everyone else has a better experience than I am having."
"The staff is friendly and helpful. I was surprised to see they have computers, printers, and scanners available for use. That was amazing because I wasnt able to print out my info before the appointment and I was able to do it there. I am grateful for that resource."
