Kids At Play

"As a small business owner I know that sometimes we may ask friends a family members to give good reviews for more business but I’m just going to speak on what I saw when I visited this center. Fist off the door was open for anyone to enter and when you first walk in there is an office area with a turtle in the tank and stuff was everywhere and that fine because it can get a little crazy when you work but as the lady is taking me on the tour there where two small children in the bathroom alone and they had water everywhere, they let the children play outside without any shoes on and the place was dirty from front to back and we don’t even live in an environment that filthy so it’s a no for me. Not only that but there was a kid in time out closet and although there was sheet instead of a door doesn’t make it right also it didn’t look like there was any curriculum, the kids just run around free all day and I forgot to mention the rabbit they have in one of the classrooms with a cage full of poop and that’s exactly what the room smelled like. Also let me add that the lady that showed me around was so nice to all of the kids and she knew each child by name. With all that being said I wouldn’t take my dog to that daycare and I hope this review helps someone like me who is very picky when it comes to my kids child care"

"Kids at Play is a school like no other! I am so thankful I found them, I just wish I had found them sooner. Their “out-of-the-box” style of education creates the most amazing and fun learning environment. My son is allowed to be a kid, and celebrated for it, while still learning and thriving. We transferred a month into VPK from his daycare center that unfortunately still treated vpk like daycare; Not the case at KAP. Since he is off to kindergarten next year we will look forward to summer and Christmas breaks here."

"To say we love this school is still will be an understatement. My daughter is one year old and she loves everyday she is at school. We love Miss Maria, our head teacher. And all the other teachers. They are caring, sweet, funny. I feel very confident that my daughter spends a lot of time outdoors, she eats well and learning about the world by exploring it nature, touching things and playing outside. We couldn’t be happier. "Working with the staff at Kids at Play was a pleasure. The teachers did a great job redirecting the children during our My Gym Summer Fitness Fun Day. It is always exciting when a school like this welcomes us in with warm smiles and helping hands. You can tell they have a passionate staff."

"While I can't speak to any of the negative reviews, I have nothing but positive to say. All three of our children have either attended or currently attend Beaches Academy. Each teacher they have had, has been professional, kind, and puts my child's interest first. When it came to VPK, there were definitely planned curriculum and I see my son's advantage while he started kindergarten. I have never had any medical concerns but I will say each child (especially baby) reacts different when coming into a new environment. They give me a detailed report daily on what food was eaten, naps taken, and diapers used. The teachers will also request diaper cream if they notice a flare up of a rash. Again, I can't speak to other's experience but we have been attending this daycare for over 5 years and we love it as much as our children do."
