"My daughter has been at dreams 2 years now, starting kindergarten and going to start aftercare. My daughter is PICKY with her adults. Lawanna and Haddie have ALWAYS made sure my girl is taken care of. We get pics daily of what she is doing, she is learning more than anyone I know with kids her age. I have never had an issue and feel confident my child is cared for and loved by the directors and teachers. I know I can call any time of day and check on her and they will make sure I feel good about where I leave her."
"Very professional and the director takes her time to speak with you and goes above me beyond to assist with our family needs…Baby room teacher is awesome!! if you are looking for a “home” daycare feel this is."
"I would like to start by saying that I had high hopes for Dreams Daycare Center in the beginning. However, over the past 11 months it has turned into an unpleasant, unwelcoming, and unacceptable environment for our kids. EVERY AFTERNOON when I pick the children up, there is a teacher screaming at the kids in the class or on the playground. When I can hear a teacher screaming from the far side of the parking lot, not only is that unprofessional but extremely unacceptable. My step-daughter (3 years of age) was stabbed in the eye with a pencil while attending daycare and emergency medical treatment was required. She is still under doctor's care, as she is not fully recovered. We are praying there is no permanent impairment. In August I was told by a parent that she had run out the front door and the parent had to grab her and bring her back in. We were not notified of this incident by the daycare staff. When I asked Lawanna (Director) about Jessica's last name (VPK teacher), she completely ignored my question. The mother followed up the next day to ask for Jessica's last name since I was not provided that info. Lawanna proceeded to reply to their mother with "Her last name is Fry. If you feel that we are not capable of teaching or taking care of your children then you have the right to take them to any other center of your choosing." This comment was uncalled for. We simply wanted Jessica's last name to ensure she had proper certification. As parents, we have the right to verify such information. When the kids need to be picked up because of "illness" were expected to be there ASAP. We work in Tallahassee and we can't just hop on a plane and get there in a split second. Yet, my husband will get several phone calls over a span of 30 minutes harassing him for someone to get there. We requested that the facility not provide a certain food item to my step-son, our request was ignored. Lawanna asked that we provide a doctors note stating that my step-son cannot have a particular food item. When requested to not provide something to our child, YOU DO NOT DO IT! Due to negligence, he was rushed to the ER because he was provided a specific food item when told not to. Since he is unable to eat a particular food, we have since been sending his lunch. Well, on Monday September 12th his lunchbox was not sent home which wasn't noticed until late afternoon (after daycare hours). Since I was unable to send his lunch the following day, he was only provided peas, water, and bread by the daycare. This is an unacceptable meal for a 4 year old boy and some accommodations should of been made. When requested to view the camera footage of these incidents, we were denied because of the "confidentiality of other children". However, each day we get videos and pictures of the classes on the HiMama App to view their daily tasks. I am bringing this matter to google reviews because I have tried to contact the owner directly with no response. Please do yourself a favor and pick a different daycare."
