Reviews of Foxtail Coffee Co.
"We are coffee snobs and have tried a TON of south Florida coffee shops. We rotate between them, but today — we needed something that would be opener later so we stopped at Foxtail. And WOW. We sat so long that we ended up with four drinks between the two of us, and all of them were incredible. Prices were GREAT, atmosphere was kind and laid back. This will be out new spot. Please keep your hours the same! It’s awesome for study/work time."
"Love this place. Appreciate that they have 64oz of cold brew available to take home (wish it were closer to $15 price point vs $20). Some of the best regular cups of hot coffee. The matcha green tea is also delicious."
"Foxtail had the best matcha latte I have ever had. For the first time ever in a coffee shop, we had two rounds of drinks. This place was also unique as you had the option of adding orange or lavendar bitters to your espresso! The atmosphere was also top-notch."
"Great place to get some coffee and a spot to chill and talk. This place is very clean and open inside and the coffee is really good, I had the vanilla latte with some pumpkin and it was so good! Service was okay, had to keep getting things added to mine but in the end it was delicious! Keep up the amazing job you guys! Will be back soon!!"
"My first time here, and the place really made an impression. Pros: 1) The coffee and snacks are very good, and the prices are about average for the area. (I wish I had noticed that they have the options of French Press, Pour Over, and Siphon - FP is among my favorites.) 2) Their pastries and ice cream all look good. Edit: I didn't realize that they have a sandwich menu. (See photo) The menu says that they are "morning" and "mid-day" items, but I was told that all of the items are available all day. 3) The atmosphere is excellent. Minimalist with a fair amount of wood on the walls and furniture. They had contemporary alt-rock playing quietly so that quiet conversation was easy. There is also plenty of space between the tables. The chairs were reasonably comfortable and the tables don't wobble. They also have LOTS AND LOTS of electrical outlets - many equipped with USB outlets. I can't imagine having to sit anywhere in the shop without power. 4) I go to cafes to read or do light laptop work, so I can't take much noise. While there were about 10 people in the shop, some in quiet conversation, it was certainly peaceful enough to read/work. Also, the lighting was even and sufficient to read anywhere in the shop. 5) This one of the very few cafes in the area that is open into the evening. 6:30 am - 9:00 pm 7 days a week! 6) A small touch, but I appreciated the decorative ceiling tiles over the server's area. I don't think I've ever seen something like that in a cafe outside of Europe. 7) Parking is a breeze with an ample lot that is accessible from both 7th Ave N and 8th Ave N. 8) There are plenty of umbrellaed patio furniture and some nice park benches outside, all separated from 4th Street North by a porous fence. However, that led to my only Con..... Con: Being on 4th Street North, which is a REALLY busy street, the al fresco seating (while comfy) is constantly punished by the street noise. Can't be helped, but needs to be noted. I may have found my newest Favorite Cafe!"
