Driftwood Cafe

"Next time we are at the Pier we will grab coffee before we go. Cafe is way too small of a space for how many people gather here, very cramped. It was extremely hot inside, to the point we felt sorry for the employees, and this was on a 60 degree day. Only 3 coffee orders ahead of ours and it took 20 minutes. No way to call out orders outside, so we had to cram inside as we waited and sweated. Only one employee was tasked with making drinks, and it was a slow process. When we got the drinks, they weren't worth the wait. My latte tasted like it was made with day old espresso run through a machine that had never been cleaned and there was a lot of mysterious sludge at the bottom. The St. Pete Pier is a world famous place with tourists from all over, so we expected a more thoughtful design for its cafe and a higher quality product for the high pricing of drinks."

"The seasonal salted caramel pumpkin ice cream with cherry chocolate chunk ice cream was absolutely delicious! I even added peanuts. I will definitely be back."

"This is my first time eating here at Driftwood Cafe! I've been to the pier several times. They have awesome looking food lots of choose from variety the best looking cakes I totally forgot what I ordered just now, a breakfast sandwich bacon egg and cheese I hope it's good! Miranda and Vic are both awesome ,provided outstanding customer service, help me choose the healthiest way LOL... Miranda is very knowledgeable about the products give Miranda a raise! She definitely deserves it! Give Vick a raise just for being cooler then me! So far this place is awesome would highly recommend it the pricing is expensive but it's worth the best skyline and waterviewview in sunny beautiful St Pete my newest favorite City in the world right now! Awesome job Driftwood Cafe keep me coming back and keep up the good work!"

"The menu is comprised of sandwiches, pizza, baked goods, and gelato. Friendly and quick service. Super cheesy pizza with pepperoni was amazing! The turkey and Pesto panini was very tasty. The Cuban sandwich was ok since it had an insane amount of mustard seeds. Overall good food while being tourists in St. Pete."
