"I have to say my son has been attending this daycare for a few years now I’ve never had no complaints or any concerns or issues. I just saw the negative review on here; however I was there when this was taken place and in my opinion I whole heartedly disagree. The daycare does very well in communicating and and caring for our kids on a daily basis Miss Renee the coordinator does an excellent job and being fair and I couldn’t agree more with her structure. Parents are entitled to their opinion but having a bad attitude doesn’t help any situation."

"DO NOT BRING YOUR CHILD HERE! (Lakewood location in Brandon) Management is very unprofessional, specifically Renee. My daughter was enrolled into after school program for a total of four months. She was constantly getting hit by older and smaller kids. Renee was always nonchalant and annoyed when it was brought up to her attention. They have too many kids and not enough space. Little kids as young as 4 are stuck in the same classroom as the older kids. There is no organization and Renee is very air headed and confused most days. She has a temper and gets easily frustrated with the kids for her own lack of structure/boundaries (this I have witnessed a few times while picking my daughter up.) the last straw for me was this week when (yet again) we are notified that someone has put their hands on my kid (punched in the back) when I asked for clarification on what happened the day before (since I was not to the one to pick her up) she got argumentative and combative, raising her voice and then made up that my kid hit someone the first week she started and that we spoke about it when In fact we never had such conversation, nor paperwork (like what we signed this week when my daughter was hit.) She then raised her voice at my daughter and tried intimidating her into agreeing with what she claimed to be true. When asking for her bosses information she refused and then told me we could no longer attend and my daughter’s last day would be on Friday. I gladly agreed and left. She proceeded to follow me outside to yell “actually today is her last day!” When I said “that’s fine, we weren’t coming back anyways” and that I would be notifying her higher ups of this experience. She stood there to argue more and yell “you don’t know me!” And just continued to go back and forth with me in front of my child (even after me saying several times to not chase me outside and that I’m leaving already) I am relieved to have my kid out of there. My only regret is that I waited this long to do so."

"Being very emotional for the first day of my daughter, I loved the way the teachers especially the help of Renee was on point and helped me. I really liked the way they work with you and how cleaned and organized the classrooms are. I totally recommend this place for mommys who want their child in a safe, caring, clean atmosphere."

"I cannot say enough good things about this brighter days location. Renee, Amanda, and Tracey are so incredible with my 4 year old. They are attentive and make it a point to invest in his VPK experience. The classrooms are always clean, and my son has so much fun during his school day. I had been leary after reading reviews from when this school was Mis Geny’s, but was pleasantly surprised to see how well the teachers work together, and how hands on and helpful Renee is as a director. Structure is something my kiddo craves and that’s exactly what he gets here. My son used to cry and dread going to school and drop off was always full of tears; but since moving him in October to Brighter Days, drop offs are so easy and I go to work without feeling stressed. We love our Brighter Days family!"
