"Their prices are ridiculous! They are 60 % higher than other Starbucks! Didn’t realize it until we had already ordered, but will not be coming back. Many other great coffee shops in the area, or even another Starbucks a couple of miles away."
"Only 2 people working. 1 person stood at register and only rang up orders. Sat on his phone waiting for next order. Only 1 girl making drinks. Prices were ridiculously overpriced, even for a tourist town."
"Coming from a tourist town in coastal California, I wasn’t expecting an over $3 uncharge per item ($8 base price on what is typically a $5 drink in Monterey, CA edit: looked it up and the same drink is only $7 in Times Square in NYC). The “oh it makes sense because we’re at the beach” logic doesn’t justify this level of price gouging. Capitalism run rampant. Let it pray on you if you’re an idiot, but if not I’d avoid this money grubbing location."
"The service at this place was amazing they were all so nice and so patient when you don’t know what you want to order I’ve never been to a Starbucks like this"
"All of the employees were very rude. The lady who took my order didn’t acknowledge me at all so I had to ask to get my order taken. In the bathroom there was soap but not in the soap dispenser, toilet paper on top of the toilet paper dispenser, and paper towels just laying on the counter instead of in their dispenser. When I was using the restroom, this lady who worked there and who saw me go into the restroom, started pounding on the door and I wasn’t even in there more than 3 minutes. Once I walked out she said nothing and gave me a rude look. So unnecessary. My sausage, egg, and cheese biscuit was good. My friend ordered an iced coffee and it came hot, and to “fix” the problem they just gave him a small cup of ice for his large coffee. I’m just confused as to why non of these people have been properly trained on customer service. I work in customer service and would never act that way even on a bad or busy day."
