Reviews of Fort Zachary Taylor Historic State Park
"The beach is an excellent and fun place to be with your family. There are a lot of picnic tables and a great place if you want to relax. The beach does have a lot of stones but that is something in my view added to the beauty of the beach. The fort is something to go for a walk to see if you are very interested in history otherwise it's not that you would miss."
"Well I liked it. Not crowded at all. The ticket was $7/ vehicle. We got good parking space. Clean water. But stony beach. Don’t forget to wear water shoes! They have a bar cum shop cum tiny eating place. Clean restrooms and shower area. The sunset was beautiful. Fort part is kind of nothing much to it. But view of ocean from fort was breathtaking.overall must visit."
"This is such a beautiful park. I love that it has the beach right next to the fort. As a history lover I was able to sneak away while my wife and kids stayed at the beach. I loved the fort, but the beach was less impressive. Very rocky and it has a very steep drop off that makes it pretty unsafe for children in my opinion. They don't offer trash cans in an effort to get people to take their trash with them. But the problem is people just throw things everywhere. They should revisit this policy. Regardless, we still had fun and got to see a nice sunset."
