Reviews of Calusa Heritage Trail
"Very nice beautiful day perfect place for yoga and the people there I really nice and knowledgeable it's free"
"Very interesting place. Lots of information about the Colusa culture. Also lots of interesting plants and animals."
"Visited Nov on a perfect weather day. Walked the entire area. It is very interesting historically. Signs are easy to read and entire trail system was kept up neat and clean. Rest rooms on site and very helpful staff. Some wildlife to photograph such as Ospreys. Burial grounds were quiet and almost a different world from the other areas. Will bring friends that may be visiting to enjoy a nice walk and learn about the history of the area."
"I love going on nature trails but this one didn't do anything for me. It mentions that it's about indians that used to occupy the land there but there isn't one thing there that would make you think that. A very nice guy ran the museum but it really wasn't a museum. He said there weren't any brochures to learn about the site. There were two cars in the parking lot, mine and the guy who works there. Not for me"
"Wonderful place to walk and take pictures along a well marked, historical trail that shares the life of the Island and the Calusa People."
