"Been going to this park since I was a baby. It's home to the swamp cabbage festival."

"A pleasant park with a lovely setting alongside the Caloosahatchee River, there's a fair deal of space for a stroll or picnic under the shade of the many live oaks. The park recently added a number of small, clean picnic shelters with gameboard tables for chess, checkers, or lunch and some statues of children that may or may not be too your liking. There is a paucity of playground equipment and the old tennis courts have been removed. Watch for birds like ibis and egrets near the river and its charming lights, benches, and footpaths. Try to remember that even though grey squirrels abound, they do not like you. They're likely to chew you out with a barrage of furious barks. Many of La Belle's larger events and festivals are held here, and its space is generally sufficient for them. The primary shelter is available for rent, I believe, likely through the parks department."
"Fabulous Park! Perfect place for community events. Phenomenal oak trees, nice amphitheatre & pavilion, artwork and a wharf walk along the Caloosahatchee River."
"Attended the “Chow down Food Trucks”at the park and it was great. Lots of food trucks and lots of tables and benches near by. Tennis courts, staging area and a place for fishing."
