"Wait time was about five minutes, which it's fast for a food truck. I ordered a hibachi plate and a side of noodles. Vegetables were great, better than most other places. Unfortunately, I cannot say the same for the rest of the food. The both the noodles and rice were bland. Rice was cooked perfectly, but it almost felt like I was eating fried white rice. The noodles were cooked well, they had the perfect amount of oil, but again, it felt like it had almost no seasoning. I ended up using the white sauce to get some flavor on them. The white sauce was really good, felt unique, more sweeter than other white sauces. Now the major problem I had was with the teriyaki chiken. They used chicken breast for it, which is great, but It can be easily overcooked. To no exageration, I can count with one hand, how many places I've had chicken this dry/overcooked. It's a shame, because once you ruin the protein for a dish, you mostlikely ruin the entire dish. Price was a little above average for the amount of food it brought. 14 dollars for hibachi platter; Which had about 1.5 cup of fried rice, 4 oz of chicken and about 6 oz of vegetalables. 6 dollars for noodles, which was about 6 oz. It's rare to see a hibachi food truck anywhere, and now I can see why. If you want average hibachi food go to mall, it's going to be more flavourful than this truck."
"Oishiimotto was gracious enough to come to Oviedo's Christmas tree lighting event last year in early December. There were a slew of options, but I was just feeling hibachi that night, so this was an easy choice. The line was long, one of the longer ones of all the trucks, so it was pretty popular, but honestly, if you're not into longer waits, don't go to food trucks. Good food ain't fast, fast food ain't good. I ordered the top of the line option. A giant hibachi dinner with fried rice, the veggies, and all three meats they offered, steak, shrimp, and chicken. The rice, was good. The veggies, were good. I like how they cut all of them into bite-sized pieces and not broccolis the size of your face. Too big. And the meats, were good. The shrimp were not overcooked, the steak was not too chewy, and the chicken was not disappointing. Overall, this truck gave me a mighty fine meal, and if you see it wandering around town, go to it."
