Reviews of George W. Harris, Jr. Runaway and Youth Crisis Shelter
"Reading some of these reviews had me little bit worried but I can honestly say for my kid experience notting crazy happened i can write out facts that happened My child went to school every day. My child called me every day My child had home-cooked meals there every day. The staff members were respectful to my child when my child was sick, I got a phone call I was able To drop off some drinks for my child and medicine I took my child to the ER then brought my child back to the place. I'm a helicopter mom, so I call my child every day as well and they were OK with that. I even talk to the staff members and made sure everything was OK with my child. If your mother like me, they'll calm you down tell you how your child was doing during the day they go outside to play if you choose to let them have movie night they can watch a movie they have to get up make their beds make sure their room is clean! i feel comfortable with my child here with the staff members doing their jobs correct!"

"Went there a few times for missing school and I would’ve stayed longer if I could’ve had my phone and the food was good for the most part I don’t think there was one time when I didn’t eat all my food and they need to get some 2 percent milk no more of the 1 percent bs But you gotta know how to act cause not everyones there for truincy but most the time the bad kids were gone before they could really do something destructive"
"i stayed here for a few months and my time here was overall enjoyable. they wake you up and take you to and from school everyday, they cook home cooked meals daily let you go outside for the most part whenever you want, and even take you on outings. All they really have you do in return is clean up a little bit every night and be respectful. Admitly while i stayed there i did claim it was bad and every thing there was awful but looking back on it i am thankful. thank you for coming to my ted talk"
"Program manger Tyron smith is very rude with children and his employees he can very obnoxious ... I recently quit due to a incorrect write up he uses writers for retaliation ... i’ve witnessed him get on a very petty level with children instead of staying at the Fessional as he should be the turnover rate at the company is very high they can’t keep employees due to the fact that he does not know how to talk to people.. he discusses other employees business with other employees which is a major HIPAA violation and not appropriate. The place itself gives you joy because you’re helping children that is in need when when it comes down to the higher up staff they can use a great deal of improvement all respect dignity and integrity and how to treat others"
