Reviews
"The service and food is very good, at an affordable price."
"The empanadas are amazing they have a secret recipe for their cheese empanadas, id say they are really good. Mantis has a good amount of variety and the clerk at the place was very tentative to our needs and we sat outside and he brought me and my group our drinks and all with a smile, aervice is great. Good price and even better food."
"My wife and I visited this cafe on our short stay vacay. We ate here 2 out of the 4 days we were staying in Miami. Great parking spaces for the cafe, along a business street. The food was absolutely amazing, fresh, and authentic Spanish dishes!! Awesome staff as well."
"We live in the neighborhood and have not been here before as there are usually no or few customers when we walk by. Today we decided to finally try the place based on the reviews and have very mixed feelings Couple who run the place were pleasant but don't listen. We ordered wings - regular and a chicken & cheese arepa along with 2 sodas. The lady asked several times if we wanted an empanada, which we nicely declined. When she brought the glasses with ice to the table, she asked what sauces we wanted and asked again about the empanada or an additional arepa. We said no, we wanted to try what we ordered as it was our first time and would order more if we were still hungry The arepa arrived, hot and crispy outside and stuffed with juicy shredded chicken and a thick slice of cheese. A bit salty for our taste but overall good. She collected the dishes and we continued to wait. And wait some more for the wings. Finally my husband asked about them -- nothing we were the ONLY customers in the place and no one had been in to pick up an order -- and she acted all shocked with an "oh you actually ordered those" attitude. She then stated they would be happy to make them. My husband nicely said we wanted what we ordered in the first place and should have been done, not what they wanted us to order. She did offer to start making the wings, but at that point we didn't feel like waiting even longer so we declined, paid the check and left. Very disappointed in our experience here, won't go back."
