"I love this area of Bradenton. People are friendly and the area is kept clean. The sidewalks have enough room for biking and groups walking. There are trash receptacles and dog poop stations with bags and plenty of parking for visitors convenience."
"A scenic roadway on the way to Anna Maria Island. Views of boats and watercraft on calm bays on each side of the roadway."
"Nice area to see gliders, also good fishing spot, I seen someone catch a big fish here. Clean place with covered benches with bbq pits."
"It was such a beautiful beach. We went to Ana Maria Island but couldn't find parking at all. So we head out and just 10min from the island is this wonderful, amazing beach that reminds me so much like Key Biscayne in Miami. Me & my hubby love it so much. And what's great you can bring your fur babies. Definitely coming back to enjoy a good beach time, fishing and bringing our fur babies to. Will recommend to anyone"
"Fairly clean beach. We decided to give it a try because our kids were getting knocked down by waves and having trouble swimming on the beaches on Anna Maria. The water was nice and calm. Also the water was very clear. You can easily see the bottom. It isn’t as soft as the ocean beaches sand but at least you can see the bottom. We found a couple different species of crab on the shore. They were live crabs! First crab I’m not sure the name of but it’s spiral shell is pretty popular in souvenir shops. The second is the rare horseshoe crab. We found this pair mating on the shore. They didn’t like me touching them. They raised their barbs out of the sand in defense and then made their way to the water so I would leave them alone. Very unique experience in nature. I would go back."
