"It's very hard to find an employee who can talk to you like a human. The staff is incompetent and plain rude morning day and night. The most rude and arrogant workers don't even speak English it's ridiculous!"
"Walmart in Pompano on North Federal Highway is the absolute worst store and shopping experience EVER. Even in a day and age when customer service has hit all time lows, this store manages to miss even your lowest expectations… I will NEVER go back there, and I will never use Walmart again. You can get anything this “POOR excuse for a store” sells at other retailers and if you factor in time saved it’s actually cheaper to shop elsewhere. Let me give you the extreme low lights. I was looking in electronics for a Amazon echo and when I asked the person in electronics about it, he said “no one knows how things work here, we just sell things..." huh!? He was serious! That should be Walmart’s new marketing line. While he was saying this, his manager was lingering nearby but would not step in to help. I was forced to google the product on my phone and what I was looking at was not an echo! Before this I returned two items from separate purchases, one had a receipt and the other items did not. Any other store would have given me a store credit for the items returned without a receipt, But from what I could understand from the clerk, he could give store credit for only two of the three identical items..$25 despite the value/payment of $41 excluding tax…I couldn't even dispute this because the return clerk also spoke very a little english and a co-worker who spoke better English was nearby but would also not step in with an explanation. It’s as if Walmart employees are instructed to avoid consumers at all costs, and feel no obligation to assist their fellow employees. I then went to look for a pharmacy item and It felt like all the undercover people were sent to watch me!!! (no I’m not paranoid OR a thief) They were not difficult to spot since they weren’t looking at products, just me. Perhaps the only way to get Walmart employees to pay attention to customers, is if they are tagged as suspect. Keep in mind, I had kept myself in check and although frustrated, had not raised my voice. But maybe its just standard to watch unsatisfied customer's closely. The final straw… I went to the "Speedy checkout" line, 20 items or fewer and it was entrusted to THE slowest cashier EVER, She was slower than the other cashiers ringing up over 20 items…the line quickly ballooned and was split in half with another register and still my cashier moved so slowly that it took 12 minutes to move up 4 spaces despite everyone in the line having 4-5 or fewer items. I have always championed working citizens where English isn’t their first language, my father was an Italian immigrant and its not easy learning a 2nd language, but every person I interacted with in the store had an extremely limited grasp of English and there was no back up to help them out, or if there was, these employees refused to even make eye contact. So, I won’t be going back to this Wal-mart or any other. Life’s short and time is precious. To the Walton Family: keep cutting pay for decent managers and proper training and hopefully you’ll go the way of other famous retailers who are now defunct."
"So ghetto and so dirty! The staff there absolutely suck. They're so rude and impolite. You get completely ignored and then they just walk away from you like you're not trying to sit there And talk to them. I hate this Walmart. Do better Walmart!!!!..... Hire people that actually want to work, not people that don't care about their job !!!"
"This store is a wreck. Cluttered aisles, unfriendly and not helpful staff and a lot of parking blocked by non-retrieved carts. I am done using the delivery service, my last order was missing items and the store told me that they could not assist. Call 1-800-Walmart is their answer. And having witnessed a shoplifting scene at the front door it is hard to feel safe."
"This Walmart is a joke, probably the last time I will ever shop here. Employees are rude and don’t even understand English. I attempted to get a robe for comfort in the women’s section to prepare for my baby in the upcoming week that was marked down to $19.99 along with other women’s lounge pajama’s all on the same rack of section and when I rung it up, it was listed for the original price of almost $25 - when trying to save money with a baby on the way at 9 months and seeing a mark down of price, even the extra $5 is a big deal. I brought up the concern to the lady keeping an eye on self checkout and not only was she rude but she wasn’t understanding the concept that if they are advertising for a sale, it should be as such when rung up. I asked to speak to someone in charge because she just kept shrugging and rolling her eyes so a man who was Team Leader came over to assist. His attitude was by far worse then the woman and tried to tell me that there were some of the same item marked for the price of $19.99 in the men’s section and not the women’s after going to check it out when it was obviously a women’s robe and tried saying that there would be a clearance sticker if it was when to be quite frank, none of the items I saw on the rack had one and my fiancé was even there with me in the women’s pajama aisle to confirm the sale price. He kept giving me a hard time the whole conversation which only infuriated me more because he tried to basically tell me that what I saw and was speaking of was false. To top that off, I chose a mini fleece blanket marked for $3 in a big box of others from the middle of an aisle in the store for the upcoming hospital visit and it came out to almost $6 at self check out. To say the least, this Walmart is actually scamming people with false advertisement of prices for their items - not all but clearly some, so make sure to double check the price when it’s rung up compared to the price you see on the shelf. Finally, there’s an old man who is persistent at checking your receipts before walking out and we’ve had a cart quite full of groceries from self check out before the store closes. If it’s such a problem with not being able to trust customers who spend hundreds out of their pocket, what is the point of even having a self checkout with cameras and an employee or two keeping an eye on you the whole time? I’ve never had issues like this at a Walmart before, this Walmart is a freaking scam and joke."
