Brookdale Palmer Ranch

"So my mom was admitted last week on a friday which I know isn't great because everyone is short staffed. It came highly recommended by hospital worker. 3 beds later they finally got a bed that worked. luckily there was a great C & A on saturday that got her breakfast because she had no dinner friday or breakfast. I got there and had to find a way to get her lunch. Got issue fixed for saturday night but she was transferred sunday hence no food again. Thank God C & A was there for morning and me at lunch. She did finally get dinner. noone will take her to activities. Went in yesterday and even tho mom was on oxygen it was not connected and nurse couldn't tell me why. Also hoyer lift broke so had an issue getting her into bed. last night they finally gave her her oxygen back and when they did knocked tv out. no tv all day. When I went to administrator yesterday he told me he was just acting and couldn't really helpme with my concerns. Today they wheeled my mom into her bed cutting her leg and blood all over the floor. yes it's clean and food is great but if your loved one is at risk what good is all this. if this is 4 stars I'm scare what one star is."

"Lucky if your bell is answered within an hour. There might be children preparing the food. Most was burned and flavorless. So far the only good thing i can say is that it’s clean."

"Brookdale Palmer Ranch is amazing. My dad is a new resident at Brookdale Palmer Ranch. Dad had back surgery, he moved into the rehab side for a few weeks during his recovery. After a successful stay in the rehab Area, Dad moved over to assisted-living. Dad was no longer able to live in his home independently. I thought we might have problems with the transition because dad was leaving a home that he lived in for 72 years. But, I was happily surprised. Dad loves his new home at Brookdale Palmer Ranch. He has gained weight, his mobility has improved, he’s playing bingo and virtual bowling. I never thought I would see Dad playing virtual bowling. According to him, he is a great Bowler. He has also made friends with several residents, and he’s learning everyone’s names. All of the staff is kind and caring. From the first person that greets you at the door, staff in the dining room, the attendance that help dad shower, the nursing staff, and the front office are all wonderful. Dad is thriving. "Audrey and her daughter says during her stay the staff was great. When she needed help they were right there. They are friendly and helpful and kind. Great therapy. Daughter reiterated staff is great and responsive. I recommend this place and I am in the healthcare worker as a social worker!"

"My mom lost my dad several years ago and the assisted nursing staff has been amazing. With my brother, sister and I living out of state, we rely on the staff to provide us with updates and they go over an beyond to make my mama feel loved and for her children to have comfort that they are caring for her and looking after her needs. I want to thank the Activities Director, Barb, for being one of the most amazing souls on the face of the earth and my mom's beloved friend. Stormie, is one hundred percent always kind and reponsive. The other staff members--Sonya and Laurie in PT are also equally amazing. Love these ladies! Tyou"
