"The food and service were fabulous here! I can't believe I waited so long to try this place out. There's a daily special menu and regular menu, all fresh farm to table food, all delicious tasting!"
"First of all the name of the restaurant drew me there. "The Salted Goat," I thought they were known for goat dishes, but no there is no goat dish only occasionally. Let's start with the food, this is beyond disrespectful to plate-burning burger meat on a bun. The steak was the worst. No flavor and dry. This is not even dog food you plate for my to-go food. Please, people, check your to-go food. It's one thing to have flavorless food, but it is another thing for someone to knowingly give you garbage. You really should reimburse me for the other."
"Sadly, I failed to take pictures on my recent visit to the Salted Goat. We normally sit outside on their wonderful covered patio, but due to the cool temperature, we opted to eat inside. This was formerly called the Genuine Bistro and had the same head chef. It was great then, and it's great now. We started with the Bruschetta, which was three huge pieces of bread with goat cheese and tomatoes. This is not your normal Bruschetta. Everyone loved it. Two of us had the Brisket Smash Burger, which was more of a brisket sandwich with fries. I had a bite of my wife's burger and fries, and both were amazing. I would highly recommend it. My cousin and I opted for a special of Scallops and Butternut Squash. Another amazing dish. All of us thought dinner was fantastic. We also had two bottles of wine which were very reasonably priced."
"This place popped up on Yelp when we were looking for a bite in a hot Saturday afternoon in August. It seemed to be new and the reviews were good so we decided to give it a go. It was great. I had the Korean beef sandwich with onion bharjis as a side — super original and really really tasty. The beer selection was decent. All in all a good venue"
"2nd visit to The Salted Goat, but 1st visit trying the food. 1st Visit: Friends and I enjoyed our drinks from the bar. 2nd Visit: Pros: Tasty burger & friendly server Cons: Long wait to receive food, difficult to get server quickly during visit, received old/cold/burnt fries, dip left much to be desired in comparison to other restaurants I did send my fries back and waited an excessive amount of time to get fresh fries. By the time they came out, I was done with my food, but they were at least sent out the right way the second time. Although I do like to support small businesses, considering the price, service/wait time, and lack of consideration of the food presented to a customer, I doubt there will be a 3rd visit."
