"For 25 years I have been purchasing my furniture from Rooms To Go. My last two purchases I also purchased the protection plan because the sales person told me it covers everything. Scratches on furniture, stains on furniture. That is the only reason I purchased the plan. Because of the sales person. I tried to use the plan, and was told those things are not covered. I am very upset about this. As it is not what I was sold. I know Rooms To Go won't miss my business. But I will be replacing the couch that was supposed to be covered but not, from another furniture store. And going forward, all my furniture purchases will be from another store. By the way, I was going to purchase a new bedroom set for myself in April from Rooms To Go. But not now."
"Furniture is ok...but we purchased the extended warranty and should have paid better attention to the fine print. Waste of money. Cannot get the stains out of couch and will pay to have it steam cleaned. When we bought it we were told "any stain, any reason, pets, kids, anything". Turns out anything does not mean dirt from people who moved you. It came from a sweaty human? Not covered. I will not recommend. Also after only 2 years of use, the cushions are wrinkling."
"Think twice before buying. They only take returns within 48 hours of delivery. My recliner took less than 5 days before it started squeaking. Called customer care for service. The repairman came out, couldn't fix it so ordered a part that would fix it. I found out today that the part wasn't ordered until 5 days after the repairman left. Already inconvenientced, I had to make 5 different calls, even tried corporate but transferred back to 800#."
"Had to get furniture re-delivered multiple times due to manufacturer defects and damages. Even called to talk to the warehouse about checking my furniture to see if it was defective or damaged before they went to deliver it. They said they would check and if it was good to go, send it out to me. Furniture comes, another defective piece. We gave up on this brand and went with something else. When that was delivered half of the order was destroyed. We have waited for deliveries for 5-6 different days now waiting our time. Got confirmation of a re-delivery for Wednesday. I had previously called and asked to be moved up to the first stop due to having a medically needy child and not wanting to waste my day waiting. They said no problem. Called today and found out we were not moved up to the top like they said they would. Called "corporate" and dealt with some nice ladies who tried to help me with my situation. Unfortunately, they could not. I was transferred to a "supervisor", and I use that term VERY VERY loosely. Theodore was his name. After explaining that all I wanted was to not waste my time and to be moved up due to all the issues we have had with deliveries, he proceeded to say nothing could be moved cause of logistics. Rooms to Go then offered me a $75 IN STORE credit. What good is $75 when I'm having issues with the furniture I ordered that totaled over $20k? I said that store credit isn't a valid option for me as I have nothing I needed to buy. He said that was all he could do. I asked if he thought this was good customer service, he said no. I asked to speak to someone higher than him. He REFUSED to escalate my call AND REFUSED to give me an address, phone number or email address so that I could pursue the matter further. Rooms to Go has the worst customer service, bottom of the barrel, and Theodore needs to go back for training on how to deal with angry/upset customers. Once this purchase is paid off, Rooms to Go will never get another penny from me."
"Horrible customer service! Furniture was supposed to be delivered on Thursday, 12/28/23, stayed home all day waiting patiently for the furniture that I ordered and paid for 8 days ago. Got the app notifications, last one stating they were 10 minutes away. After waiting for 30 minutes, called to inquire about delivery status, we were told they couldn’t find our address despite the fact that the notification on the app included a map with our address with a dot on it, not to mention we have never had an issue with other companies locating our address. Their response: you will have to schedule another delivery date through the app. The best they can offer after speaking to three people in ‘Customer Care’ is 1/2! That isn’t really helpful for the New Year’s Day party that I have scheduled! I’ve been patient, professional, & kind but now I’m in disbelief over the lack of customer ’ care’ that has been displayed! Considering cancellation of my order!"
