"Tom, former owner of Tom’s Shoe Repsir, did excellent work-fixed many, many things for me over the years. The new owner says he’s an expert, but after leaving a simple job there to repair, returning 3 1/2 weeks later to pick up, only to find they didn’t even complete the task but were sending me out the door with one strap partially sewn and other 3 hadn’t been touched. I wasn’t comfortable leaving $400 brand new boots there after hearing he needed another month to do a job that wasn’t completed, and I had serious concerns about the job getting done in a satisfactory way. Not worth the wait or risk."
"Never give these guys to repair any luxury item. They just ruined my Louis Vuitton bag. They had to fix the shoulder strap mount, but they ended up tearing the leather and leaving traces of glue. The $26 dollars paid for the work completely broke the cost of the bag."

"How often in todays world can you go to a business where the owners / craftsman’s name is on the door, they are the person who does the service, calls you after completion AND proudly hands you back the repair when you go to pick it up? I found Tom browsing reviews for the best shoe repair in the Tampa area and I was over the moon with the service he provided. I had a pair of shoes that needed completely stripped and repolished as they were in a quite a sad state after years of dancing at work Christmas parties with an open bar (you don’t have to use your imagination to understand what happened here). He absolutely knocked it out of the park and I would not be exaggerating to say they look better than they did new. I will not take my shoes anywhere else and you shouldn’t either."
