"This beautiful park is home to so much history and wildlife. Part of the area is fenced off, to protect and respect the former indigenous inhabitants who rest there. We happened to arrive right before a nature walk was to take place and received a tour of the land. We learned about the birds, trees and history. Check out the second pic and you can see an umbrella tree growing from the top of the palm tree. There is catch and release fishing, a clean restroom and lots of space to walk or run. Very serene."
"Beautiful park. Great for people who want to walk or exercise. Very beautiful scenery and very well maintained. Will go again."
"Wonderful park! Very quiet and peaceful. I didn't even know it was here if it wasn't for Google maps. It has nice pathways to walk or ride bike. Although it's not a big park, it is perfect for brisk walk or to read a book under the trees or just relax in peace. There were a few benches and some picnic tables. Also there were public restrooms which looked fairly new. No playground so keep that in mind. Overall it was a beautiful spot to just relax for a bit and enjoy nature."
"Only went the one time with my girlfriend, but it is definitely a gorgeous park. Long enough of a trail to get your steps in, peaceful and serene. Would definitely come here again. Pretty active even up until closing. There's also a nice spot to watch the sun set from if you're lucky enough!"
"This is a special place! Great to go alone, w/ your partner, family and/or friend(s). Some days Iβve only seen a few bugs & birds. Other times Iβve stumbled on a turtle. Either way- such rich history, stunning views & it borders the old Perry Farms. Check out the oak trees on one side & the full preserve (nice to walk) on the other side. Absolutely love it!"
