Burt Aaronson South County Regional Park

"My grandson is almost 3 and loves to ride his adorable custom name engraved "Schwinn" tricycle here! The water park area is closed right now due to the time of the year (it's cold even in Florida - just not as cold elsewhere). When it is open, it really makes this park even more fun! The sunsets are amazing and you can get some beautiful pictures here. All in all, we've been going to this park since his 38 year old father was his age, Back then we were there primarily for the sports areas-a lot of improvements have been added in the past 38 years (lol) and the park is even more enjoyable."

"Nice walk through the park. Very large park. We saw iguanas and tons of turtles. It looked like 2 different species of turtles, big ones with long noses and smaller ones without the long noses. They were all swimming around the bridge near the Daggerwood Butterfly garden. There is a water park with slides, but it was not open since it was December."

"Love this park! It is huge and there are so many places to explore. I come here all the time to walk with my husband and dog. The dog park is a plus. I really enjoy the scenery around the lakes. It’s a great place to come to relax, have a picnic/bbq or get some exercise!"

"Excellent place to spend time with friends and family. Playground, pavilions with grilling stuff, park with turtles, next to waterpark with great choice of slides for 5 years old. We , definitely, would be coming more ofter, as my son just love it!"
