"We shop local whenever possible. Our motto, If we buy everything from Amazon, we all suffer locally. Our last encounter went like this; We entered the store and there is a lovely bird, a sun conure, who lives there and will greet you with a whistle. The store is a “what’s on the shelf we have, if you don’t see it there, we can order it” kind of store. Sizes are at the rope of the rack or on the box for some shoes with multiple pairs. Luckily my husband found his size 13 Teva’s at a lower price than I could get on Amazon or elsewhere, which was amazing for him and the experience was surprisingly more convenient for both. Win! Win! There was a man who helped us and a lady who seemed to be helping him, as if to train him. Anyway, the store made it through COVID and I am thankful she is still here. Business was tough and the people business can be exhausting, so I’ll give this lady some business anytime I can find my size. I always stroll in the store whenever I’m on Corey Avenue to see what she has available. I rarely engage in small talk and we both live our lives without expectations, so it works for us."

"The rudest woman in the world works here. She made nasty faces at my 14 year old daughter. I really am not sure why somebody like this would work in retail. If there is an older lady with black hair working in there, go somewhere else until she is gone. Great selection of shoes and have bought in there before, but this individual was the worst person I have ever encountered in retail. What grown woman picks on a young teenager?"
