"Prices are sometimes more than the store it came from. They do not mark down it ems until they are to the point of being broken and ruined from being left on the sales floor for too long. Manager is a pain and usually doesn't help much I've watched people get upset and grab items and just walk out the front door pissed off with free stuff. Bathrooms are usually clean though."

"Dirt Cheap used to be a fun place to treasure hunt for great deals. I would grab a friend or co-worker and we would make a special trip to multiple locations in Pensacola and Mobile. Both locations in Pensacola have seemed to morph into what amounts to a clothing store, with a few hardline items sprinkled throughout. The location on Fairfield is still has messy and dirty, except now it doesn't have anything to entice a stop when driving by, let alone a special trip. The location on Davis Hwy at least has the building supply side left, on top of being someone neat. Overall, if you want clothing it's fine. If you are looking for anything else, shop anywhere else. My best and final description of it, if someone would ask me "What is Dirt Cheap?" - If retail stores were people, Dirt Cheap would be Ross on meth"

"Pay attention to the fact that ALL SALES ARE FINAL at the FAIRFIELD location. The other locations have a 30 day return with receipt. Fairfield has a "24 hour return"... so if you get a birthday present, wrap it, give it to a 5 year old 2 weeks later and it doesn't work.... oh well, they don't refund, exchange, or care. Super rude about it as well. I guess next time I won't let my kiddo have the excitement of opening a new toy.. I'll go through the process of taking it out, off the cardboard, putting in batteries, making sure it works, and then do my best to get it back in the original package and looking presentable. Won't be Back to that location."

"I use to do alot of shopping at this store and you can find some good discounts;However, The store has changed ALOT. They use to have aisles of merchandise for 90% or 80% off,Now it's all in all 40% or 50% off. They have No guys clothes at all and the store is super messy and they did not have a area to check out if merchandise works well the electrical outlets did not work. ALSO BIG PROBLEM with the store is items will be on the 70% or 80% aisle then you get checkout and it is only 40% and that happened last time I went with 4 items. It would be so much easier for everyone if they color coded everything like 40% is green sticker & 50% is blue and so on.that would make to much sense rather then the dewey-decimal system that they use.Also they had more Christmas stuff then Halloween stuff in September. 2023 update they no longer have a nap anymore they have a website that you can go to you can still scan items however the items will be a different price when you get to the cash register there is so many things are frustrating about this place oh and the last time that I went girl if you have the cash register sad that my day planner that I carry with you and have stickers and outside was theirs Minerva's clearly mine has over 89 of my personal stickers she got the manager and the manager at actually had me open it up this their Chief doesn't follow the like policies of the other stores like doing bargain buggies."

"Good place I didn't find a big selection on men's wear. I did find a shirt. Lot's of swim trunks and bathing suits. We found some great deals of house items. Clothes were a little unorganized but overall I'm a Dirt Cheap fan! I will return. They have restrooms and fitting rooms. Friendly staff too."
