Reviews of A Petrified Forest Scare Trail
"I went to this while on a quick weekend trip to Orlando about a week ago. Overall, I was impressed. If you go in comparing it to something as elaborate as HHN, you may be disappointed. But if you go in with an appreciation for what it is, you will leave impressed. It is clear that a lot of time and energy were put in to the 3 houses, from the stories, designs, and direction the actors are given. It is mainly a younger cast that clearly have a passion for what they do. You can tell they put a lot of effort in to trying to make it a good time for their patrons. The costume and makeup on the magician in Magic was awesome. I also saw a lady in the corn field get scared so bad that she ran clear back to the entrance with the chainsaw wielding ghost chasing her the whole way. I honestly don’t think she has ever run so fast in her life. It was great. The most impressive illusion that I couldn’t get over was the laser swamp. It was incredible how those guys are able to use the fog and lasers to sneak around under you where you never knew where they would pop up at you. That was genius. Was it packed, yes. Was it very dusty from the dirt trails, yup. But overall, it was a good value and totally worth it. I would encourage anyone looking for a fun haunted house to check this one out."
"I'm a local photographer, and when a couple that booked an elopement with me asked for haunted houses I just knew that A Petrified Forest was the answer to their dream wedding day! Kimmy at A Petrfied Forest was amazing and so nice to give me a private tour of each trail's best photo spots. When the couple arrived we walked through each trail. Haley and Justin arranged for a private tour of Petrified Forest, where we were able to explore the trails and capture some stunning shots. And let me tell you, my friend, even though it was daytime, we still got scared a couple of times! The special effects and attention to detail at Petrified Forest are absolutely mind-blowing. To make things even more spooktacular, Haley and Justin brought their wedding cake along and decided to cut it inside one of the Halloween-themed haunted trails. I mean, talk about having a wedding day that's as unique as their love story! All in all, it was an unforgettable day filled with love, laughter, and some seriously spooky moments. It was an honor for me to be a part of such an alternative and fun wedding, capturing every precious memory for Haley and Justin. I love A Petrified forest not only for the amazing time I have there each year with being scared silly on the trails, but also for amazing memories like this one!"
"My family and i love this place! We go every year. Dj, food truck and merch trucks are a plus. The staff is always friendly and i love watching my family get scared. I love that it’s put on by locals."
"Best haunted experience we’ve ever had!! The scare trails were super intricate and much longer than other haunted houses! We were celebrating my twin and I’s 21st birthday and they made it so special!!! So much bang for your buck its so worth it!!!!"
"What a fun haunted attraction! 12/10 do recommend. At a great price point too! The photos below are from their "Total Eclipse" night where you have to attempt to keep hold of a glow stick as you walk through the scare trails and the scare actors have to try and take them from you. Super fun!"
