"Interactive, entertaining, cute and different from other rides. But it’s somewhat underwhelming. I was expecting much grand outcome when Universal decided to say goodbye to the Shrek to replace it with Minion Blast. Shooting at the screen with a plastic gun, standing on a conveyor belt was an exciting experience. I thought this was a pre-ride activity. The moment when I found out this is it?! Looking back, it wasn’t too bad. I will get on it once again with proper, adjusted expectation. And if there’s no wait. But seriously, I miss Shrek4D here!!"

"I honestly don't understand the hate for this ride. I thought it was fun and interactive. The indoor queue was fantastic and well done- everything looks perfect. The techno soundtrack playing had a great vibe. I liked the blaster weapon. I also thought each room was unique and fun. The only negative is I thought the circles you stand on were too close together. I would have liked a little more space between me and the others"

"Surprisingly bad. Stand in a line on a conveyor belt, weaving thru slowly to different screens. Issued a plastic gun to use. Cursor isn't even synced to the screens half the time. Delay in shooting, and there's like 50 cursors at the same time, hard to tell which is yours. Look around and everyone seems bored/confused. Basically just stand there and spam press, number on gun goes up."

"The attraction is new and has some hiccups still, but that being said there are now 3 shooting gallery rides at Universal Orlando. This one is not a riding one but a standing one that you're shooting a screen. The cool thing that nobody tells you is that you can sync the blasters with the app to unlock special weapons and upgrades. But that needs to be highlighted better. The ride broke down for about 10 or 15 min while we were waiting to jump in the belt but they were great about accommodating us afterwards, I didn't even ask. It was very nice. My kid loved it and didn't care about the score. I think that there are too many blaster type rides and think MIB is on the way out next."

"It's OK but too similar to rides in other parks. What it is: You take a Blaster from the moving rack and step onto a moving platform. Pull the trigger closest to you to shoot or pull the button on the front of the blaster for a big blast! Gameplay: You hit the villains and other objects on the video screens for points. Problems: There are crosshairs that help you aim, but the first problem is there are 15 people also trying to aim and you have to figure out which is yours. The bigger problem though is the crosshairs have a long delay in moving, making it very frustrating to try and aim. I did ride it on the dress rehearsal before acutal opening day. Hopefully they will get the crosshair issue solved before opening. I will update once they open. It could be a fun experience and I hope it will become great!"
