"If you like airplanes (even just a little bit), you need to go check this show out. I live right down the road and can see/hear the planes for the whole week. That was fine for me last year, but this year I went both Saturday and Sunday and was so amazed with everything that wasn't flying. They have so many vendor booths and tents, tons of food options, military aircraft that don't actually fly during the show that you need to see in person to really get the full experience. Be ready to walk.... a lot. Wear sunscreen. Bring drinks. Be ready to pay for parking, be ready to spend some money. Florida residents get two day passes for the price of one day. "Sun 'n Fun 49th air show was fantastic! This was my first year attending! I volunteered and enjoyed the ma y networking and learning opportunities it offers to us with a passion in aviation! I am in Women In Aviation and Ninety Nine's. I am on my journey to reach my life-long dream of learning to fly! I had a blast at Sun 'n Fun! Thank you for all you do for our kids and for me! The James Roy scholarship is helping our students pay for flying lesson and getting their private pilot license before they graduate from high school! What a way to make it possible at such a young age! Thank you for all you do!!! I am humble and grateful!"

"Great airshow! Warning: it lives up to its name! Reapply sunscreen generously. I love Sun-and-Fun! It's a pretty large affair now, but as a result they've been able to get even more acts. This time they had a redbull stunt pilot, an ex-redbull stunt pilot, a couple other famous stunt pilots, two F-35 demo teams, and the Blue Angels flying classy blue F/A-18s. The food is extraordinarily expensive and coolers are not allowed. I highly recommend bringing a half-gallon of Gatorade (not water... You need the electrolytes) per-person. I drank 13 cups of fluids and somehow ended up dehydrated. I also forgot to reapply sunscreen, and thought in a streak of brilliance that I didn't have to apply it to my legs. 15/10, would get scared by a Blue Angels low-flying pass (sigh... Seen it four times and it still caused me to jump) from behind any time. I do hope they have the 22 demo team next year! The 35s are capable but something's just gorgeous about that sleek 22."

"Best Airshow around! If you like anything "airplanes", this is your hangout. This year, the Air Force B-1 Lancer Bomber showed up. Also, everything is out in the open air. From vintage aircraft to modern day jet fighters. The volunteers there are the best. They take care of anything they can help you with. Food vendors have terrific food that will keep your tummy full. There's way too much to be able to put it all here so you have to go see for yourself. Don't miss next year's Airshow at the end of March from what I heard."
