"I'm not certain if this rating is for the location in Wauchula or Fort Meade. So, I'm rating the company as a whole on this post. I struggle to see the value in buying local anymore. Comparable parts are available through RockAuto at a fraction of the cost most of the time if you can afford to wait on shipping. I wouldn't have a problem spending more money for parts locally if quality of the customer service was better. Also, buyer beware of parts that are Limited Lifetime Warranty through Advance Auto. There's a catch. In order to replace it as defective they may require you to provide actual proof that the parts were deemed defective by a technician at a shop. And then, they will make you buy new parts and then return the defective parts for a credit. It's a nightmare of a hassle and I experienced this first hand today. I was getting an intermittent misfire code specific to spark. I replaced plugs first. Symptoms persisted, actually got worse, jumped from only 1 cylinder to 2 cylinders. That tells me ignition coil pack and/or wires. Both only a little over a year old and only 12,000 or so miles and still looked like new but getting hassled by not only the clerk in the store but also from online ordering customer service via phone was disgraceful. Once I get my credit back on these defective parts I will cash in my built up rewards credits on tools and not spend another dime at Advance Auto."
"My husband and me stop in this store to ask for clutch cable. My husband ask is someone speak Spanish. The worker say no and when I try explain what we needed (because I speak English), he no want attend us, just ignore us and say “we no have the part”. He is racist. We no comeback never in the life. Is all Advance Auto is the same, we no recommend yours buy in that place."
